I believe and hope there will be a sequel for "The
Incredibles". It has a lot of leeway to have a new story. And the first one was one of Pixar’s most
successful films, which is where John Lasseter bases whether or not a sequel will be made.

Stallone as a villain would be a good idea. Better then
the obvious cliche idea for him as a hero character one could get from the last Rocky movie, which would
essentially retread a good part of Bob’s story in the original.
I
would like to see what Stalone can do in the a probable TI sequel.
Me too!
Actually, if Mr. Stalone does play a part in a probably TI sequel, I might be surprised if the
character he plays is an old, retired Super hero who gives so information or something crucial.
I think your right. It
fits him perfectly.
I would love to see an Incredibles sequel. The Incredibles was great! They’ve done a sequel before, and it was great, too! I’m sure they could do The Incredibles 2. I hope they do.
A113: Oh I so agree with you with that.
And welcome to Pixar Planet dude.
I think that The Incredibles is one of those movies that is open for a sequal, if you know what I mean. I’d really love to see one, and I think it’d be awesome!
Oh it totally opened up a wide range of possiblilities for a sequel. And trust me, you ain’t the only one that is hoping for one. Once again, welcome to Pixar Planet!
After watching it again last night, yeah, they could battle the Underminer and development of Jack-Jack’s powers. There is definitely room for a sequel here.
I only want a sequel if Syndrome is in it. I don’t really have a problem with him dieing if there is no sequel, (Even though I never would have killed him I understand that it gives the film more closure.) but if they make an Incredibles 2, and he’s not in it I’ll be really sad. I mean, he’s like the saddest villain ever. I feel so bad for him.
Anyway, I’m sure a sequel would be good even without him. Even though he added a lot to the 1st film I think they can make a good sequel even without him. I’ll see it either way. Although I must admit I don’t think they can make a better one without him. (or even one that was as good as the 1st)
If I do hear anything about a sequel my brother and I are going to write a letter to Brad Bird/Pixar asking him to please bring Syndrome back. I don’t even care if he’s the main villain. He can have a cameo for all I care. I just don’t want him to be dead. It’s too sad.
Sorry I went on a rant there. I think it was still on topic though.
Pixar could do it without Syndrome. It’s like making a Toy Story sequel without having Buzz so crazy, but Pixar made another Buzz to go even crazier.
Also, I think Syndrome’s dead.
Now that I think about it, I wouldn’t want an Incredibles 2. I think it may overplay the whole hero-living-in-everyday-life thingy, but I could be wrong. Maybe I’m just really doubtful because the villain (if there is one, would be stupid without one) would probably be someone silly like Underminer. Or it could be Underminer. shudder
I think that an Incredibles sequel could work only if Brad Bird returns as director.
Yes Syndrome was a great character, but he needed to die, I mean he killed all thoes heroes, for him not to pay for thoes deaths would have been unjustified.
Lets face it folks Syndrome was a cold blooded murderer and he needed to die. The movie would not have worked if he had lived
For us to think that they wont be able to come up with a great villian for the sequel would be ludicrus. These people are talented and they know what they are doing.
We should put our faith in Brad Bird and Pixar. Sure Syndrome was great, but The Incredibles was much more than just Syndrome.
He’s dead let it go, I want to see a new threat, a new villian and not Underminer.
Personally, I am going to miss Syndrome, but I would love a new original villain. Plus, maybe a new hero(s) that join the Incredibles. I have so many possible outcomes in my brain right now. But no Syndrome.
Plus there is also the possibility of long lost relatives who are superheroes - where else would have Bob and Helen gotten their super powers from? I also want to see Dash, Violet, and Jack-Jack grown up a bit, and more confident with their powers.
Syndrome was a great villain, probably by favourite ever, but his time was up. I am a bit sad when he dies at the end, because I feel sorry for him, but I really hope they wouldn’t magically bring him back to life in a sequel. That would be a bit lame. But if Pixar did choose to do that, they would do so tastefully.
I might be a little okay with that idea. I absolutely love Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack as their age in the movie. I can live with one or two years past, but I wouldn’t want to see them grow up so fast.
I would want to see Violet at least 16 (not too old, not too young), Dash at least 13, and Jack-Jack at least 5. I’m not sure how that would work since they all have to age at the same rate relative for the first film, but you know.
I wonder if Jack-Jack would have a solid power like the rest of the family, or if his would still be varied like when he was a baby…
Here is what I am hoping for a sequel, concerning their age.
Violet is a freshman in high school, Dash is starting middle school, and Jack-Jack is in preschool. I’ll let the rest of you determine the age for them.
I think Jack-Jack would still have all of his various powers, but he would have a little more control over them. Plus, there could be a certain power that he enjoys using.
