I like that idea.
And don’t forget, Jack-Jack only displayed a couple powers in the movie and short. Who knows, he might show more.
That’s true. He could be the first super to have multiple powers.
Actually rachel, I think Violet is the first one with multiple powers: Invisibility and Force Fields.
Oh, I meant the most varied, multiple powers.
Well, I can’t think of any other Super in TI that has a load of powers off of the top of my head. I think you are right about that part.
Hey! I’ve just joined this awesome forum after googling Pixar forums.
Sometime ago, my sister & I decided to predict what Dash and Violet would look like around 10 years older (Dash would be 20 & Violet 24) & draw them both on paper.
I really want a TI2 film to be made, & the exciting part would be the cast of the film.
Has anyone here seen any of the Fantastic Four movies? A thought I’ve had for quite a while now is that Chris Evans, who plays Human Torch in Fantastic Four, has the perrrfect voice for a grown-up Dash! What do you guys think?
Sounds really interesting. You should post your drawings in the art section.
Thanks. I’ll just have to find those really old drawings & repair my scanner first. Or maybe come up with new sketches…
This may sound ridiculous, but in order to design the older Dash (he’s my fav character!), I had to use a Lion King storybook as reference. The adult Simba pictures in the book were excellent to use as a guide! So when I was drawing, I kinda followed how Simba’s facial features changed.
nerual_nihc: Those are some cool ideas there. And Welcome to Pixar pLanet.
This movie deserves a sequel. We really don’t know if what’s his name (incrediboy?) the villian surived what happened to him at the end. He could have surived somehow?
Sorry, but I’ve got to agree with this user (Nqnpipnr) from Wikipedia, on the TI talk page:
However, Nqnpipnr did it in sort of a rude way.
However, Pixar managed to make a Toy Story sequel without Sid in it, so they could easily do an Incredibles sequel with Syndrome in it. However, Mirage would be an interesting character in a TI sequel…guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Characters only die if their creators want them to. There is ALWAYS a way to bring them back.
Kinda like the evil KARR from Knight Rider.
In the episode “Trust Doesn’t Rust” . Michael Knight knew that KARR had a weekness. His weakness was his primary directive of self-preservation. So Michael played Chicken with KARR knowing that KARR would get out of KITT’s way in order to protect himself. But KARR did not not enough time to stop. So KARR drove right off a cliff and appeared to explode in the ocean below.
Well in the episode “K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R.”. Every one beliving that KARR was destroyed. KARR was instead damaged and buried in the sand. When the tide went out a couple found KARR buired in the sand. So the couple dug him out and reactivated him. Because of what Michael and KITT did. KARR wanted revenge. Towards the end of the episode KITT and KARR battled it out. (KARR who after the crash in the epsiode before was damaged in the fall.) Lost the battle with KITT when they both both turbo boosted and collided in mid-air. In which KARR was blown to pieces. But among the wreckage of KARR layed his CPU Unit undamaged and his LED still flickering.
Sorry that I went a little off topic. But I just wanted to show a example of what you were talking about dash. And I do hope there will be a Incredibles sequel.
Well, of course Brad Bird could bring Syndrome back if he wanted him to “come back from the dead”, and they didn’t actually show Syndrome dying, though I think that was more due to not wanting to go past a PG rating, then having a way of leaving it open for him returning.
Would I want them to bring him back in a sequel, though? No, I wouldn’t. It would be a bit cheesy in my opinion, and would sort of make it more of a challenge for a new chapter of The Incredible family’s life to be shown if they repeated themselves.
It would depend on how they did it, and if the reason for Syndrome evading death in the first movie, would be good enough for the new story. If Pixar chose to bring him back, I would trust them but for the most part a new villian/villians would be welcomed by me just for the sake of moving forward.
Although I don’t really like sequels, I would definately be interested in seeing a sequel for the Incredibles. ;D
Personally, I would not mind if Syndrome came back in a possible TI sequel. But if he does come, I envision him in like a dream or a flash back.
I would rather have a new threat, a new villian if there were to make a sequel. If they were to bring syndrome back do it along with a new villian.
Perhaps Syndrome teams up with this new villian only to be double crossed near the end.
I think that the villian should be an old villian from Mr. Incredible’s past, who was long thought dead.
And old face. This guy should be like what The Joker is to Batman or Lex Luthor is to Superman. This guy should be Mr Incredible’s arch nemesis.
Well, I like the Arch-nemisis idea, but really, how would the idea of a Super Family versus a Super Villain go?
Im not sure exactally what your asking.
