Who's Seeing WALL-E on Opening Day?

My brother wants to see it that early, to be sure that the crowds won’t be extreme, so I’ll probably go then. Originally, he wanted to see the midnight showing, but then my whole sleep cycle will be off, I’ll be waking up late and stuff … and it’ll be a nightmare trying to get up for work. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m probably going to see an opening day evening show after I get off of my summer job. As easy as it is to want to deprive myself of sleep and under perform at work, I won’t be seeing the midnight showing.

I already bought tickets for my friend and I to see WALL-E during the day. I’ve waited a good year to see how Pixar’s gonna bring their last lunch table idea to life, and I’m not going to wait a day more than I have to.

I’m most probably seeing it Friday at 11 am. Hopefully. :unamused:

Midnight showing!!

Of course! I’m not crazy enough to go for the midnight screening, but I will be dragging a friend to see it Friday evening. Oooh, I seriously can’t wait!

Of course I am!!!

First Pixar movie I will be seeing opening day, very excited. I’m going for a 1pm showing. I’m pretty sure most parents will still be at work at that time so there may not be a lot of kids there.

Of course…I could be wrong…gulp

I think my plans have backfired. My dad was nuts because my mom was nuts, and I got into a small argument with him. I’m not bothering to ask.

And, this is going to sound depressing but - I’m giving up seeing it in theatre altogether. :stuck_out_tongue: My parents work all the time, and the only theatre I can take a bus to get to is this small and cruddy and it’s just not worth it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah well. :frowning:

Can’t make it tomorrow. But Saturday at 5:30PM for sure! You can come with me, Rebecca

So much excitement! I’ll have to keep away from deviantArt AND this forum tomorrow to resist spoilers…

Wish I could, David. :stuck_out_tongue: This is why I need to drive - I hate relying on public transportation and other people to get around. :unamused:

At least this change of plans falls back on the first one I had in mind - to steer clear until the crowds died down. :stuck_out_tongue: I can’t stand the people around here. xP

Oh, I’ll be going on anything and everything that I know will not contain any sort of WALL-E discussion.

Unfortunately, I’m gonna have to see it on Saturday, not that that’s a bad thing, just that some people are too concerned about crowds (like there won’t be any on Saturday) :unamused: but I’ll live with it. It’s gonna be totally awesome!

A113: Don’t start a fight. :stuck_out_tongue: Crowds don’t bother me really (I deal with them all the time) - it’s the sounds they make when you’re trying to hear a movie. Babies crying, children screeching for no reason … I’m sorry, but I’d like to hear the film when I see it. :unamused:

Just saw it. Holy crap. Best. Movie. Ever.

Okay, not ever. But definitely best movie of the year. And I’m not speaking as a Pixar fanboy (even though I am  ).

I saw this movie earlier this morning with my mom, grandma, and little sister. I saw it at 12:01 a.m. it was perfect no kids at all. Plus the movie is perfect, best movie ever made.

Just saw it and loved it! Best movie of the year!

I agree… best movie I’ve seen all year.

Apparently there’s a mechanical WALL-E that makes noises when you walk past at the local cinema, now…The excitement is building up!

This is very bad.

I just found out it’s going to be released in my country, Singapore, at the end of August.

:imp:

I still haven’t seen it. :stuck_out_tongue: I hope this coming weekend isn’t stolen from me again, one way or another. xP
