Who's voting for McCain?

haha very funny Fetti

i’m serious…this man doesn’t salute, in the pic he looks rather disrespectful compared to Hillary. And this man wants to be the president? I can’t say that he isn’t patriotic but when he suports non-patriotism i can’t believe he has as much patriotism as others.

sorry but i have to show this…

Comic is misleading. Here’s the actual quotes.
Question “At what point does a baby get human rights?”
Obama’s answer: “I think that whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade”

Which is the only logical answer. He could be referring to god or the whole of people in the US or each specific women as having to make that choice for themselves. You could get a panel of the world’s best scientists and theologians and the majority of them would have a hard time agreeing on an answer to that question. It’s a big gray area.

If you want his stance on abortion, then it’s pretty easy to find on his site my.barackobama.com/page/content/womenissues
Or a third party site you can find his voting record on the issue.
ontheissues.org/Social/Barac … ortion.htm

Much better answer then McCain’s reply that evil exists and we should defeat it.

Anyone else disturbed by McCain’s constant callback to Vietnam regarding the current war. He’s always saying he’ll win the war so we won’t be ashamed by defeat. As if he thinks he’s fighting in Nam again. Has he ever stated what winning actually means?

The guy in charge of our country is not even from our country. He isn’t patriotic whatsoever, thank goodness. He’s just trying to do his job as best he can. Does it really matter if the new president of the US is patriotic or not? As long as he’s trying to do the best for his country, as well as the world, then that’s fine.

Anyway, what Fett101 has said makes sense- Obama was taught not to salute during the anthem. And even if this is ‘wrong’, it doesn’t make his policies less valid, and it doesn’t mean that his ideas about how to improve America are wrong.

i don’t get your post Fetti

it shows that Obama wants to decrease the taxes for lower income families.

45% of his 95% tax cut don’t pay income taxes…??? Why…

During the election I wasn’t old enough to vote. I was, however a Ron Paul supporter for the primarys, but he didn’t make it. I did like Mr. McCain until he teamed up with… that other person :unamused:

Honey, I don’t mean to be rude, but when a topic has been dead for over a year its best it stays dead XD…especially when the conversation’s significance has long been over since Obama won.

[spoil]Unfortunately.[/spoil]

I tried to vote for McCain, but we all know how that ended up. It really makes me wonder if Obama’s reason for winning wasn’t so much because people were thinking about whether or not he would be right for us but simply because they were caught up in the idea and historical significance of having the first black president, which I always thought is a poor reason to choose anyone over anyone else. I don’t say that because I’m racist or anything but because I know that in voting we’re supposed to go by the person’s character and motivation. And ever since Obama won I’ve been seeing a whole lot of publicity of him as our president all over the place (more than I’ve probably seen for our past two presidents) and I almost think it’s for the same reason.

But yeah, this topic is very outdated! I’m not sure why it hasn’t been locked up yet.

Well, since it’s back anyway, if I had been old enough, I only would have ever voted for McCain/Palin.

Even though I’m not old enough to vote, I wouldn’t have voted for either one if I was. McCain would have just caused the same problems that Obama is, only a lot slower. I’m fed up with Republicrats.

Hopefully Ron Paul will run in 2012, when I will be old enough to vote.

Republicrats? What does that mean?? And McCain was sort of just the 3rd Bush… but anyway, I think I’ll stick to talking about Pixar. I fail at politics.

Republicrats is basically a RINO (Republican In Name Only). All they want to do is make “friends” with people. They’re not really conservative.

Oh. That makes sense…I honestly really liked Sarah Palin, and had mixed feelings on McCain, but I would’ve voted for them.

I really like Sarah Palin’s views too, but I don’t think much of McCain.

But I’ll admit that during the election I would get anyone in if I wasn’t Obama. I was cheering for McCain. XD

Sarah palin thought africa was a country!

Really? Oh that’s funny. XD

Someone didn’t study her geography… :stuck_out_tongue:

She’s a would-be vice president!!

It’s not trivial.

– During a Feb. 25, 2009, interview on CBS’ “Early Show,” Biden encouraged viewers to visit a government-run Web site that tracks stimulus spending. When asked for the site’s web address, Biden could not remember the site’s “number.”

“You know, I’m embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number?” he asked an aide standing out of view. “I should have it in front of me and I don’t. I’m actually embarrassed.”

– During a Sept. 12, 2008, speech in Columbia, Mo., Biden called for Missouri State Sen. Chuck Graham, who is wheelchair-bound, to “stand up.”

“Oh, God love ya,” Biden said, after realizing his mistake. “What am I talking about?”

Ya know, this guy isn’t exactly the dream-boy for a vice-president either. XD

EDIT: There’s plenty of other blunders, but some of the things he says are SO crude…

Old thread. If this remains open, all it’s gonna do is create a flame war. Locking up.
