I love it because of the people. Everyone here is so nice and polite, and I felt so welcomed and accepted when I first joined (less than a month ago).
And the atomsphere here is friendly and welcoming.
And of course, I love Pixar, and this is a place for me to “geek out” (as my friend calls it) and discuss it.
So why do you love it here?
I think you just about summed up why I love it here, rock-itpop. The people here are the best around, the atmosphere is awesome, a place where people who love Pixar movies can come and geek out about Pixar, and of course, all the updates you get on here. You almost don’t even need to go anywhere else for Pixar info!
I like this site because everyone is so kind and welcoming, there aren’t any trolls or annoying people, and it’s sort of a place of escape from all of the people in real life who are the complete opposite of kind and welcoming. It’s somewhere where people will accept me for who I really am.
Well, everyone here is so awesome! I’ve made a few close friends while on the forums, and I don’t think I’ve ever met someone here I didn’t like.
Plus, this is an awesome place for a Pixar fan! There are so many people you can talk with, as in real life there’s not too many. I really love it here. <3
Because I love everyone here, and almost no one’s ever hateful. 
This place is home.
It’s simple, the people on here are so nice to everyone and they make everyone feel welcome here. There’s no hate in here, just the feeling of happiness. We all have different opinions and no one bashes the other because of his or her opinion. Not to mention, it’s a place where you an discuss about your favorite Pixar film 
For me, Pixar Planet is simply one of the best, perhaps even THE best, forums out there.
I like here mainly because you can express your opinions and stuff without people getting worked up about it, on other forum sites as i’m sure people know if your merely say one thing in support of something you like and something someone else doesn’t like, they find a way to make it into an argument where they HAVE to have the last word and ‘prove’ whatever they like is the best thing ever. And on here it’s welcoming
I completely agree Witch_of_ Night. Pixar movies are just so smile-inducing I think rubs off on all of us.
Pixar Planet is a pretty perfect place for Pixar people.
I definitely agree about the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I was a dedicated lurker for almost 2 years before I decided to join, and even before joining I picked up on the tight-knit, community-feeling of this place. It’s wonderful.
The members are really what makes this place so awesome. Everyone has their own opinions, but generally a neutral, understanding, open-mindedness about other people’s thoughts and ideas. And that’s what keeps people coming back. We all have our differences - in opinion, worldview, religion, etc. - but most of the time, our love of Pixar and its films really overlooks all of that, and it’s easy to make friends despite such broad differences.
I love this site. I’m going to be here a very, very long time. I once read from one of the members a while back that someday they were going to eave PixarPlanet, when they got older, got a job, went to college, got married, etc.; but I really think this place will stick with me and continue to be an active part of my life even when those things happen to me. I’ll never be “too old” for this place. I can’t imagine not surrounding myself with you guys. You’re all so awesome and it’s hard enough spending several days away from this site!

I don’t think there’s a single word for me to describe my love for this website. After having been here for a year, I can honestly say that Pixar Planet is probably the best fan forums I’ve ever had a pleasure of being a part of, hands down. The members are all extremely welcoming, nice and friendly, there’s a really warm, safe and heaven-ish atmosphere that I really love about this place, everybody here just speak with so much intelligence, tolerance and open-mindedness despite there being so many young members here, and I’ve never even felt intimated or scared by anyone at all. And unlike certain other forums that I won’t mention, the mods actually do their jobs right and they don’t discriminate against certain members or groups. And even the mods THEMSELVES are extremely friendly, out-going and really easy to make friends with. I just… I love these forums. <3 I love the mods, I love the people, I love the forums, I love the discussions… heck, I love EVERYTHING about this site! 
Where do I start?
*Well, I love how I’ve had this amazing chance to meet amazing people from all over the world. From the homeboys from here in Cali to people in the U.K, Virginia, Venezuela, Australia, Texas, and tones of other places!
*I’ve always felt accepted here, everyone is so friendly and caring. I’ve opened up a lot to all of ya’ll.
*I love doing all of the social stuff. Quiz NIghts, Movie Nights, Movie Nights, they’re all buckets of fun.
*All the great icons and sigs. They’re basically amazing.
*Gives me something to do before classes!
*I feel like I’m a part of something great.
Well, firstly it gives me another avenue to make friends. I know some cynical folks might question the tangibility relationships formed in Cyberspace, but you can’t deny its existence, or the fact that it’s real people on the other end of the wire with real emotions, opinions, and dreams. I have some wonderful friends in RL, but the sad fact is that not many of them share the same passion that I do for certain interests, so it is wonderful to encounter like-minded individuals to share updates, thoughts, or fanworks with.
Secondly, 99% of the people here are great. Like real-life, not everybody’s perfect, and we’ve had a couple of unsavoury characters in the past, but for the most part, everyone here is very understanding and accepting of each other. There is a surprising majority of Conservative Christian Americans (well, it’s true! 
), but there is a nice mix of people from other backgrounds and nationalities as well, and that’s what makes this community so interesting and exciting. And most of the time (save for the odd squabble or two), we make an effort to learn about each other’s cultures and customs.
Thirdly, we have a fantastic team of Mods and Admins that keep everything up and running smoothly. This might sound a little Puritan, but it sure beats the lawlessness that I’ve encountered on other forums and social networking sites, so I’m very grateful for that.
The reason I love this place is because it’s probably the biggest Internet fan community of Pixar enthusiasts on Earth. And I’m a part of it, along with the many others who contribute to it every day.
I noticed that too! Nothing wrong with that, it’s facinating listening to others different viewpoints and world views! 
Conservative Christians are a rare breed where I’m from.
What I love about Pixar Planet is the sense of community. We really are an amazing community, there is no getting around it. I mean, for heaven’s sake, we have Movie Nights on Skype and planned chat sessions! It is so welcoming here, and we all get along so well.
The best thing about it is, though, that our warm and powerful community and is feuled by a mutual passion for my favorite film studio in the world: Pixar.
Why do I love Pixar Planet? The people of course Everyone here is so kind and welcoming! I haven’t found a single troll since I joined, and let me tell you, that’s a rarity. People actually manage to have mature, thought out conversations without resorting to petty name calling, and are generally open minded and accepting about other’s opinions. Not to mention the fact that I’m a huge Pixar fan, but that goes without saying 
I can discuss my obsession with like-minded, mature folk here, without having to worry about people making fun of me for liking “kids movies”. This is by far the coolest site I’ve ever joined.
I’m not going to say that Pixar Planet is perfect, because it isn’t. It’s just nearly perfect! The fact that there’s somewhere on the internet where we can all talk about Pixar (and a whole range of other subjects) whenever we like with like-minded people who are, on the whole, lovely is a dream come true. I love Pixar Planet!
I love PP because it’s my home away from home, my second famiy, and one of the few places I can go to where i share the same love for TI and Pixar with people around me.
