So up north. I would love to have one snowy day for once.
We don’t
just get one snowy day. We get blizzards, wind, the whole ten yards. If you’ve gone through that for three
months, believe me, you’d be dying for 60 degree weather.
Oh I see. Blizzards. Something I don’t want to stand in
the middle of.
I have been through both extreme
cold and extreme heat. I lived in Canada for the first 22 years of my life. Coldest I have been in was
snowboarding in northern Quebec where is was -60 with the windchill at the top of the mountain. In 1998 we had an
ice storm come through my college town, knocked out power for 10 days, ya my dorm was at the freezing point.
couldn’t even take a shower cause there was no hot water.
I live in Florida now, but when hurricane
Charley came though it took out power for a few days and it was so hot and there was no A/C.
Moral of the
story, as long as you have electricity doesn’t matter what it is like outside.
Ohio weather is nutty. It snowed here on Easter, but not on
Christmas. This month, I wore a tank top and shorts one day and my winter coat the next. 
I never know what
to expect, aside from winter-damaged roads.

Well I
have been to Ohio once in the summer and from what I remember it was very nice.
Ate at this really nice
resturant near Cincinnati called the Charthouse it was at a river that borders Kentucy
Here’s how it’s been. Today was 50 degrees, and the snow is
melting. That’s unbelievable considering we were bit by the snow bug two days ago.

We’re gonna have Christmas in July if it doesn’t stop with the snow.
Day after tomorrow was a
cool movie and that could actually happen, it wouldn’t happen in a few days, it would take quite a while. But
with global warming and the melting of ice caps that is a definitely possibility.
In fact they say
Florida might be under water in 100 years if the ocean level keeps rising.
By then, Disney
World’s official theme song will be “Under The Sea”.

Now that should be in the joke thread. 
I’m pretty sure that this nutty weather we’re having
extends to Australia as well. On Christmas day it was a chilly 18 degrees (64 f), which is pretty weird and
unexpected for the middle of SUMMER!
And now it’s Autumn when the weather should be starting to get cold,
but it’s going to be 31 degrees (88 f) next week! We could really use some of that snow to fill up out river/s.
We are going through the worst drought in history. And I probably forgot to mention Australia is the driest
country in the world.
Oh well. That’s el nino/global warming for you.
Ha – it better not. Although, the way the world is going it sure seems
like we’re heading in that direction, doesn’t it?
PV - Pfff…haha! That
was funny. 
Here in California the weather is very…umm…“odd”. Normally, we get the
most rain around our spring months: March, April, and May. Instead, we’ve only gotten a few inches of rain so
far and fires are starting to pop up – we just had a brush fire lighten up near my area only yesterday.
Weird… I want some rain! 
I wonder where you live in Cali Mitch. Cause here, I only get clouds, part clouds, and a lot of sun.
