versions of the Incredibles DVD. I like to get as much as I can out of a Pixar movie.

Just the widescreen. I watch most of my DVDs on my computer, and my computer has a widescreen monitor. :slight_smile: That

and money’s a bit tight right now.

Ha – I did that accidentally. I got the

Incredibles DVD the first day it came out, only to realize that I got the fullscreen

version…which I hate. I went back and got the widescreen version the next week. :stuck_out_tongue:

Widescreen for me, I suppose. As long as I get the DVD, hahaha. I’ve already set up at least

three get-togethers to watch this movie. :smiley:

know. Both has it’s goods. But I really don’t know. This one, I actually have a choice. I can’t have both DVDs

like the Incredibles.

I always go for widescreen, you actually get to see what the filmmakers actually

made, not what some technician’s reinterpretation of what they made. Always go for the wide.
On the subject

of widescreen vs. foolscreen for Cars, does anyone know how Disney is going to mark the difference on the cover.

Will it be like Over the Hedge and have it in tiny writing in the corner or will Curious George style and just

have a sticker or will they replace that bar that reads "#1 Animated Film of the Year to one that just says

Widescreen. Usually by now if it were just the bar on the top, we would have seen something. Anyways, I’ll just

double check with the back cover when I’m in the store to make sure it’s widescreen.

Widescreen is the best. You see more of the

scenery and sometimes more of the other characters in that scene. You get your money’s worth.

will be displayed in fullscreen.

Well, I personally always get widescreen, though most

Actually no,

fullscreen just zooms the camera in 1x and when someone is talking the screen will focus on that one person and

you sometimes get the halves of others’ faces. Once Cars is on TV, chances are it will be fullscreen, but as we

progress into the future, people will all have widescreen tellies and they’ll want the high definition DVDs and

widescreen and all that. =P
