Anyone else think he might. If he did, it would be something that would keep him from dpoing something with his toys. You think he would two sice he has like 5 baseball trophys.
I suppose he COULD, but I think Toy Story 3 already has enough distracting side-plots, and it’s not even out yet, so that would be unnecessary. Nice question, though. Thought provoking.
Maybe does maybe he doesn’t, its not important though. it wouldn’t keep him from playing with his toys because he’s an adult. The toys aren’t competing with anyone for attention this time around. The villain here is maturity.
If he did, they wouldn’t focus on it. Remember, it’s called Toy Story, not Adult Andy’s Potential Romance- Story.
Well, to me there are loads of love possibilities for chracters already.
What about sids sister. Her and Andy would go great
You mean Hannah? That would be too weird to me. I don’t think he needs a girlfriend.
Hannah would be unusual, I don’t think he should have a girlfriend though, unless it goes well with the story.
Did Andy even know Hannah? You think with Sid as her brother his mom would not let him go over there. lol
Well, all because he has a whole bunch of trophies doesn’t mean he has had any girlfriends, maybe secret crushes here and there. For all we know Andy is probably not that all interested in any love games of any kind because by the looks of it, he’s had a pretty busy life as a teen and it’s about to get busier with college right around the corner.
Maybe they’ll squeeze some love scene for him in the form of an epilouge at the end of the movie. Kind of like what they did for [spoil]Dug during the credits for UP.[/spoil]
I don’t think there will be enough room for more boyfriend+girlfriend type scenes anyway since:
Mr and Mrs Potato Head
Buzz and Jessie
and
Ken and Barbie
pretty much cover that, but you never know. ;D
As for Andy and Hannah, I don’t think that would happen. We don’t even know how well they’ve known each other. Yet, it wouldn’t surprise me if they went to the same school (back in TS1), or if they bumped into each other later on.
I doubt he does, for simplicity’s sake really. As others have said, it would just be too much of a distraction. It’s an interesting question, though.
I agree 100%. It would be too much of a distraction, although they could get a few seconds of Andy having a love interest pulling him away, while him and Woody were looking at each other in the college.
Yeah, it would make sense for him to have a girlfriend, but it would be best if she was only mentioned or seen briefly. Like someone said earlier, it’s about the toys.
What if Andy is not into girls… if you know what i mean.
Now THAT would be too distracting x]
DIsney/pixar wouldnt make him gay. if you know what I mean.
Yeah…that would be too weird and uncomfortable for families in the cinema together. Besides, he seemed pretty inherently male in Toy Story and Toy Story 2, so it would be too much of a stretch.
I personally don’t think so.
Why?
Well, if Andy had a girlfriend in TS3, it would really not have anything to do with the plot. It might even take away from the plot.
It’s just supposed to show that Andy has grown up, which is what they’re aiming for. Plot-wise: you’re right, it would add nothing, but just a little mention or something wouldn’t be bad.
I was gonna make a joke about Andy not being able to get a girlfriend when he plays with toys…
But…I still collect toys and I have a very attractive gf, so… haha sorry Andy.
BTW, you people are all very narrow-minded… He could have a boyfriend too LOL
It’s called Toy Story not Andy’s Story. Andy is just a minor character with a major role.
