will there be new toys coming out for the toy story short? i dont mean new chracters, but woody and buzz in hawaiian costume… they have toys for cars toon, so i do hope they do the same for the toy story shorts… anyone know any insider information about this?
I doubt it. The production cost would be the same, only there would be less profit to even it out. Only people like us would buy toys from shorts for $60. 
I don’t know if it’s been mentioned here yet, but I found out recently that Hasbro decided to update the design of the Mr. Potato Head toys for the first time in years. Now they’re slimmer and have pants:

I wonder how that’s going to affect the Toy Story line Potato Heads that they make in the future (if it does).

It wont affect the toy story ones and its a new version they’ll still sell the other molds of potato heads

This reminds me of when the Toy Story Collection Mr. Potato Head came out and a lot of the toy purists among us didn’t like that it had legs sticking out. Some of the other members showed how to fix that of course, but at least it wasn’t pants.
Why would they remodel a classic toy like that? That’s like deciding Barbie is now obesed just for the heck of it.
“Oh, since little kids have to wear pants, let’s make Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head wear pants, so they can relate!!”
Or that’s the only excuse stupid enough for this I can think of.
Depends mostly on the populatiry of the short. They made Day and Night books, I don’t know why they wouldn’t make more toys based off of a Toy Story short.
The potato head has nothing to do with the original being offinsive, I am guessing. They are just trying to change up an old toy line in an attempt to sell more units.
Back on topic. There is the rummor that there will be TSC Hawaiian Buzz and Woody. (posted by teh person who told us about the rummered wave 3 TSC at the UK toy fair)
