Winnie the Pooh (2011)

I’m really excited for this movie, even more so after those two clips! Looks very good!

Awesome! Thanks for the links.

Another new trailer clip/promo. Too bad it’s in German…The Mission Clip

Those years of High School German paid off!

“Nein, nein, nein. Ich bin mit Kinder!”

-Kanga

What’s Roo’s and Piglet’s response, then?

New theme clip [url]- YouTube

I’m not fluent, I’m a beginner speaker. Roo was speaking too fast for me to comprehend, but I’ll ask my German friend to translte for me! As for Piglet, he was stuttering something, I couldn’t quite understand that, either!

I like the new theme! Actually better than the original. I know they’re the same words, I just like this new voice better.

For me what really sold it was the inclusion of Tigger. 'Bout time our favorite striped feline was mentioned in the theme song!

I could also translate the Mission Clip.

Announcer: “Your favorite characters are back and ready for their mission in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh!”

Tigger: “The 100 Acre Wood needs a hero, Pooh bear, and I am the onliest.”

Announcer: “The mission.”

Owl: “Christopher Robin has been kidnapped by a Backson!”

Tigger: “A Backson! What is a Backson?”

Announcer: “The team.”

Rabbit: “Don the helmets! It’s a dangerous mission, we cannot do any mistakes.”

Winnie The Pooh: “We need honey.”

Announcer: “Winnie The Pooh. Pooh the super genius. He is smart, he is ready and he has the proper equipments!”

Winnie The Pooh: “Ooh, stuff and fluff.”

Announcer: “Tigger, the team’s secret agent. He is swift, he is charming and alwys ready to take the plunge!”

Owl: “Kanga, down with you!”

Kanga: “Oh, no no no! I’m here with a child.”

Roo: “Piglet should go.”

Piglet: “B-b-but.”

Announcer “Piglet, the team’s newest recruit. He is a genius, he is fast and he extremely brave!”

Piglet: “B-b-b-backson!”

Announcer: “The fate of the 100 Acre Wood…”

Rabbit: “Lies in our hands.”

Piglet: “Do you really think it’s going to work?”

Pooh: “Oops.”

Announcer: “Disney’s Winnie the Pooh!”

By the way, I’m going to see Winnie the Pooh on Saturday. I’m so excited.

Thanks for the translation! My German teacher taught us that team was Mannschaft. Is this another correct word?

And you lucky Europeans, enjoy Winnie!

TOTALLY jealous of you, Witch_of_Night! Be prepared to give a non-spoiler report back to us, please!

Yes, it is.

PixarBuilder - Don’t worry, I’m planning to.

Another new clip to anyone who’s willing to translate. This one supposedly gives us a deeper insight into the story. [1]

Here’s a review for the film.

movies.ign.com/articles/116/1161586p1.html

That was a pretty thoughtful review. The negative parts made me a little uncomfortable, but hopefully, it is greater than that.

I thought it was actually really positive. If they’re biggest gripe is that Pooh didn’t have a very complex storyline, Disney definitely did their job. Pooh films don’t need grand sweeping climaxes (although I thought Pooh’s Grand Adventure and The Tigger Movie actually pulled it off nicely), just something simple about a bear wanting honey is enough motivation needed to drive the story.

True. But a 3.5/5 is not great. It’s a D. :frowning:

Not by Canadian standards - it’s a B-.

Besides, one review shouldn’t be the overall judge of the film’s quality.

Oh. I don’t understand how a 3.5/5 is good no matter where you’re from.

I don’t care what anyone has to say negatively about this film: I plan on seeing it opening weekend.
