Quixotic - Not compatible with reality; idealistic. (Rogetās II: The New Thesaurus)
Irascible - 1. Easily annoyed. 2. Having or showing a bad temper. (Rogetās II: The New Thesaurus)

Dude: Thank you. I can type it in probably 10 seconds. Watch: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. 8 minutes, 44 seconds. ![]()
Sheila: Interesting, but not as interesting as holodetector.
moonstarms: No, itās not a very nice word, but itās not as bad as diarrhea.
Mitch: Dude! ![]()
Geek trivia!!! Did you know that āQuixoticā comes from the title character in the novel, Don Quixote, by Miguel de Cervantes? Don Quixote was a man who read way too many historic adventure novels about knights and kings and wars, and he thought he was one of those heroes, so he got kind of delusional and saw a windmill as a dragon, and tried to slay itā¦
Now thatās idealistic and not compatible with reality!!!
Also, the book is considered one of the first ever novels, as it was written during the Renaissance!
Okay, Iām doneā¦

Disestablishmentarainism
Sheila - Ah yes, I did, indeed, know that! I read an excerpt from Don Quixote at one time and loved it; tāwas hilarious. Alas, Iāve never ventured to dig into the entire novel yet. I really must run down to the nearest book store and do soā¦
Nice to know Iām not the only literature/linguistic geek around here. ![]()
But back on-topic⦠(heheh)
ā Mitch
WALL-E: All you gotta put in is the 4 letters A-n-t-i in there and you get antiDisestablishmentarainism. ![]()
and then you put a re- at the front and get reantidisestablishmentarianism
![]()
oh boy, long words will never get on to my favorite words list. ![]()
Reantidisestablishmentarianism? How about preantidisestablishmentarianism? Or preantidisestablishmentarianists? Or preantidisestablishmentarianistic?
