i also like Ansonia, Antone, Checkloslovakia, and Sacrovaukluar (its made up)…you have to say that last one really fast for it to make sense.

I like a lot of words because of the way they sound.

For some reason, me and my sister used to love the sound of the word “despise”, because we thought it sounded cool and was fun to say. So every time we talked about something we didn’t like, instead of saying we didn’t like it we said we “despised” it. xD

Other words I like are:

Beyond
Terrain
Poofy
Cyclone

…And some others I can’t think of at the moment. Yeah, they’re pretty random words.

Now that you brought up that word, I also like the word “cyclone”.

My favorite words in Chinese (but I don’t know how to type it) are the translations for “ice cream” and “smoothies”.

I don’t like the word “y’all” either, but seeing as I’ll be in Florida for four months starting February, I’d better keep my big mouth shut. I’ve heard stories … :open_mouth: I don’t think they’d beat up a girl, but ya never know - I’d deserve it.

I hate the word “persnickety”. It gets on my nerves. I mean, what the heck kinda word is that?!? :confused: I keep hearing it on a commercial. x_x

My favorite word lately is “smorgesborg” – my dad said it whilst reading a description for a restaurant, and the way he says it, we just fell over laughing. Now we tease him with it whenever it need or need not apply. :smiley:
