I don’t really care who wins. All my faves have perished in this brutal war of global dominance. 
I’m not really interested in either of the finalists either.

I think Holland will win however. It should be a good game.
I don’t particularily care for either of the finalists, but a lot of my friends are Spanish, so I guess I’ll go for Spain. But then, if Spain does win, I won’t hear the end of it…
That’s exactly why I won’t stand it if they win. At least you have the advantage that they are your friends. I don’t like the Spanish fans I know.
Four years ago, when Italy won…wow. I live in a predominantly Italian area, and about 50% of my close friends are Italian. Let me tell you, if they weren’t my friends, I would have…said some not nice things…yeah. Honestly, they would not shut up about it! This year, I was only too happy to poke fun at then for Italy not even making to the round of 16 
No offence to any Italians out there of course.
So… yeah, the smoke has cleared on the battlefield, and the bodies of the fallen lie in ruins. Spain has beat Netherlands by 1 and won the World Cup.
The Spaniards will be having a field day (pun unintended). Any el pueblo espagnol here?

The goal was made after the referee skipped a corner for Netherlands.
It was a proper ending for a World Cup full of referee mistakes. Hated it.
I’m glad my friends are happy, but there are some people down the street with some very loud music…they’ve been there for a while…hopefully they’ll have calmed down tommorow
I know what you mean about ref mistakes Spirit. Some very unfair calls made, and some potential game changing events missed by the refs. Hopefully next World Cup they’ll have some sort of system to solve this problem.
And the ref was British! I think. But yeah, I hate refereees too. Sometimes it seems they can be a bit bias, even though they’re not supposed to be.
At least Buzz and my little brother are happy- it was his birthday yesterday and he was rooting for Spain.
