Worst Songs in History

In your opinion, what are some of the worst songs in history?

Achey-Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus. That song is a shocker.

I don’t know. Usualy, I tend to love the songs that strike me and tend to ignore the ones I hate/don’t care about.

But if there are songs I find annoying, it probably is Gwen Stafani’s songs “Hollaback Girl” and “What’cha Waiting For”.

Hmmm…sorry but, is this thread neccessary? If someone hates a particular song that someone else might like, could it offend people?
I hate any songs that use bad words. I’ll leave it at that.

I think after this, I’ll stay out of this thread. backs away from thread, getting ready for song like/dislike fights that may emerge sooner or later.
thinks to self, Pixar Planet is more mature than that. It might not end up as a fight after all. I mean, it’s not YouTube.

You know what, I think you do have a point BBD. I was a little hesitant when I posted songs that I found annyoing in this thread because I might start a fight. I think it would be better to lock it up.

Hey TSS, didja know Gwen Stefani is my favorite singer? You’re in big trouble, mistah. :stuck_out_tongue: Hahahaha. I’m just kidding, except about the Gwen-being-my-fave-singer part.

While I discourage negativity, I see nothing wrong with stating something you dislike, but there’s a difference between critiquing and flaming. As long as this discussion doesn’t grow heated, you guys are cool.

I Kissed a Girl-Kate Perry

I can’t stand folk songs and all songs of the German band Tokio Hotel. Don’t ask why, I just dislike/hate them.

Some of those newer songs, like My Humps, This is Why I’m Hot, and a bunch of others.

Anyone know about Crazy Frog? What a legend. Possibly the worst song ever.

Anything by the Pussycat Dolls makes me want to reach for my sniper rifle. And there are a lot of mindless, nonsensical RnB songs out there that slowly kill me. And Country and Western music, like Dolly Parton. Eeep.

But yeah, I’d say Crazy Frog over anything else.

rap. 95% of all rap. Anything out of HSM.

Soldier Boy

Worst song in history period.

Agreed.

V=Soulja Boy.

I absolutely treasure music, and don’t like anything to touch my ears unless it’s music I adore. The worst type of music is techno, repetitive dance music and trance. I’m certain it kills brain cells.

I disagree. I think it was pretty catchy when I first heard it. I mean, it got me jumping when I heard it at parties, then it became a little overplayed, and instead got more annoying.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR I hate that song so much! Especially because half my friends sing it ALL THE TIME like it’s any good at all!

Lizardgirl, a lot of country isn’t stuff like Dolly Parton anymore. It’s more of a mix of soft-rock and pop, which is not bad.

One song I can’t stand is Our Song. I don’t actually think its the song itself that stinks, but that my friends sing it non-stop. If I have to endure another bus ride hearing “ASKING GOD IF HE COULD PLAY IT AGAIN!” I’m gonna go insane!

Two words: Jonas Brothers. Especially since I saw a Cranola commercial where they ruined that “You say goodbye, I say hello.” song. Their worst has to be Year 3000.

Haha, well I personally like Our Song. No one that I know of got obsessed with that song, and I really don’t think it got overplayed where I live, which is good. Maybe that’s why I still like the song. Surprisingly, I don’t really like Country music at all either…

But I know what you’re talking about with the Jonas Brothers. I mean, yeah they have some talent and all, but really. The popularity for them is rediculous. I do like one or two of their songs, but that’s about it. But yeah, I know what you mean with the commercial. When it comes on though, sadly enough I can’t help but sing along…

Aaah! You can’t say that! Trance is clearly the best genre of music ever! How dare you! :open_mouth:

Only kidding. Though I do love Trance. :stuck_out_tongue:

I just hate how much music nowadays has so little meaning. A woman can sing about her ‘lady humps’ or whatever and earn a stupid amount of money from it. It just doesn’t make sense.

Rac_Rules- I’m not really exposed to much country music, I have to say, so my opinion of it is probably very dated. I just always seem to view country as the sort of American equivalent of our Indie- generally liked by most, but hated by me.

The Barney song. Nuff said

lizardgirl - I just knew you’d say something, 'cause I remember reading that you like trance music. Heheh. Each to their own.

nightwheel - I remember coming back from a grade 4 camp and we were all singning the Barney song on the bus, except it was the ‘naughty’ version, drove our teachers crazy. Good times.

How about ‘The Song that Never Ends’ from Lamb Chops Playalong. Anyone remember that?
