Yep. I mean I got the first 2 minutes of Rio from Catherine Hicks’ Twitter, who is a Pixar animator. So yeah, it’s not like those people solely stick to their own junk, so to speak.

But coming back down to Earth, I’d bet good money that there is a lot of mutual admiration among Pixar staff and at least the KFP and HtTYD crews. Creative folks mutually appreciate good work regardless of corporate rivalry. That’s a solid foundation to build on if the executives were ever motivated to make a partnership work.

Very true. After all a lot of the animators at Dreamworks, Pixar, and other animation businesses did go to school together. It’s natural for two students at let’s say Cal Arts to graduate, one goes to work at Cartoon Network and the other at Disney. They’re still good friends, and appericiate each others work.
