Yes, I’d go with the idea all the way!
The Classic Disney songs would bring back such memories, and let’s not forget the Pixar music (like my personal favorites, If I Didn’t Have You, Define Dancing and Le Festin) will surely put me in a good mood.
BTW, I once found this video a long time ago when surfing the net. It advertised Disney songs throughout the ages. The video, let me tell you,is AMAZING! Unfortunately, I can’t find it to share it with you guys! I’m sure you’d all enjoy it!
This is what I remember of it, though, just to give you guys a picture of what it was like:
It starts at the earlier generation, with the black-and-white old TVs and the old-fashioned phonographs. A young boy turns off the TV, which just finished a program in which people are singing “M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E” and starts the phonograph, which plays “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf.”
Then it zooms inside, where there’s this whole dimension of Disney records. Eventually they turn to audiotapes then to CDs. As we are guided through this universe, quite a few quick samples of the Disney music over the years play. From “Someday My Prince Will Come” to “Supercalifragilistiexpialidoscious” to “Under the Sea” to “A Whole New World” to “Circle of Life” to “You’ve Got A Friend in Me” to “Strangers Like Me” to “Why Not” and MANY others (too bad it couldn’t go through all the songs- but it would take too long, even with little samples!).
All the now CDs add up to build this Disney Castle. Zooming in a castle room (similar to how Enchanted began), we see a young boy listening on his iPod to the B5 remix of “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf” from DisneyMania. Then he stops the song and switches to the oldest version of “M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E”, which was previously heard at the beginning.
I wanna see that video again! Then I could share it with you guys! It’s a fantastic joy to watch!
