I’m obsessed a bit with Little Shop of Horrors because my school’s doing it , and I just found out they had an animated show on it in 1991 on Sci-Fi . I was wondering if anybody watched it , as I know I’m one of the young ones on here , and I saw 2 second clips of it on YouTube … and , yeah …
Really? I don’t remember it. I do remember watching the old live-action film with Rick Moranis a hundred times over. 
Yeah I never knew there was an animated show of LSOH. That would certainly be something to see. I remember my high school was going to do that musical once, but they decided to do something else instead. (I cant remember if it was Jesus Christ Superstar, or The King and I)

Little Shop of Horrors is awesome. Alan Menken/Howard Ashman’s music = amazing. The movie with Rick Moranis is really good. Steve Martin is genius as the dentist. Ooh! Bill Murray’s cameo is SO funny. I just love the story. It’s kind of twisted/dark and hilarious at the same time.

I’m an understudy for the Sassy girls ( Chiffon , Ronette , Crystal ) . There’s six of hem though in our play , and two of them are guys . So if anyone of them is sick in my voice range I play their part . I’m also a waitress in the company …

Yeah , well mines are bit Will & Grace like , considering the state I live in , and there are a good amount of … ick how can I say this without offending any peerson who could possibly be this … eh the heck with it if i offend you im wicked sorry because i agree with equality … there are a good amount of gay people , and they are the nicest , and funniest , people in there . You should see one kid mime out next to seymour while he’s singing his solo in “Skid Row” . Hillarious !
I don’t think any one would take offense. Besides it’s sort of a compliment for 'em, isn’t it? They just seem to shine on the stage, don’t you think?
Rehearsals are super fun. All the crazy stuff that goes on…

I remember watching a Little Shop cartoon when I was 15 - that was in the 80’s so it’s either a different show than the one you’re talking about or SciFi was rerunning it… It was…weird but that was what they were going for. I remember a character, a regular customer who ate flowers. He would come in, buy flowers, and eat them like potato chips. But, business was business, so they kept selling to him, lol. Oh and Seymour was a little boy, not a grown-up. The art style was simple but nice, I liked the backgrounds. The backgrounds would consist of lineart, with the coloring like…like they colored it in and then shifted the colored cel an inch to one side of the lineart cel. It gave the show a real surreal quality that worked.
