Wreck-It Ralph

Found this video taken from Comic-Con. Ralph in the Pac-Man game was awesome!

Haha, Loved the part where the switched over to the gamers view!

I really want to see this movie. So far, I like Ralph and all the licensed video game characters. I have faith in all the new Disney films since John Lasseter took charge.

At first I didnt have a feeling one way or the other for this movie, but after seeing the Sonic clip and the audience’s reaction to it, I gotta admit, I’m interested to see it

I love videos at cons if not just for the reactions over the content. The cheering at the sight of Sonic made me smile more than Sonic did.

What’s this? Nintendo wanted too much money? I thought they didn’t wanna sell the rights… dang, that’s…

I’ve always preferred Mario over Sonic. This is a tad bit disappointing.

AND I DON’T CARE! This movie looks amazing enough as is and it WILL BE GREAT, K. Rool or not!

Also I recently drew Ralph, or at least a mugshot of him. It was a lotta fun and out of my comfort zone (I rarely draw humans) and I thought I’d share it seein’ as it came out pretty well! He’s fun to draw. :3

A new trailer’s up! Thoughts?

This keeps looking better and better!

Great trailer! This film is growing on me. Disney’s biggest challenge will be marketing it so people actually know it’s out there. It definitely has an audience (kids, gamers, etc.) but Disney’s really going to have to work to reach that audience. That means no TV ads with poop jokes -_-

Just saw the trailer on Disney Channel tonight. I am seriously in love with this movie already… I can’t explain it… I mean, I tend to love Pixar films at first sight, but rarely do Disney films grab hold of me from the first trailer and then keep hold of me by the second trailer! Maybe it’s the fact that Funky Town was the song on this trailer (yeah, I got a thing for oldies…) or the joke where [spoil]Ralph “killed” Felix[/spoil], or even the fact that it shows the film’s heart as well… but I can’t wait!! XD

:open_mouth: :-D) [spoil]Sonic![/spoil]
This trailer is amazing!

I understand the feeling!

I loved the new trailer! Great animation, character design, etc! I can’t wait to see how Venelope’s arc plays out. Seems interesting…

Also great art Badger!

ADORE the new trailer. Use of “Some Nights” at the end? GOSHDANGIT DISNEY YOU KNOW MY WEAKNESS. But anyway, not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but apparently the couple for this movie is Felix and Jane Lynch’s character Srgnt. Calhoun. If you ask me, that sounds awesome, and may become one of my new Disney OTPs.

I’ve never been excited for a Disney film before except for maybe a Pooh film!

It looks awesome! I love the colors, music and everything about it. I know I’m probably gonna love it! Hopefully the classic Disney feeling you always see gets a neat little twist in this film, unlike the other Disney films but just as good!

P.S. The song by Owl City for the movie is on YouTube if anyone’s interested.

EDIT: OK, sorry, I meant I have never been SO excited for a Disney film. I always get excited for Disney, just never this much! Wanted to clear that up.

The song that Owl City did for it is incredible… aw man, Disney… I am so in love with this movie… and then you made me love it even more by adding an original Owl City song! :3

It does look interesting, but I’m scared I won’t understand the jokes because I don’t play video games. Do you think that will be an issue?

Since it’s Disney, there probably won’t be so many gamer-only references that it alienates the company’s general audience. I’m assuming it will be fine.

I loved it so much you guys I can’t even!

I saw it this morning and believe me when I say that you won’t have to get the video game references in order to enjoy it. And after a certain point in the movie there are no video game references, at least from what I can remember. Overall I enjoyed if, but I had the most fun watching the first 30 minutes. I thought the Paperman short was beautiful. I hope Disney uses that style for a full length feature. But I thought the story was just ok overall. I remember reading that the guy uses his imagination to get the girl, so I was excited about seeing it to see how he would go about doing that. But I don’t see how he used his imagination to get her in the end.
