You know what really grinds my gears?

I hate it when teenagers learning to drive go out during a busy time on a busy road and go way under the speed limit.
Yeah, we all have to start somewhere, but a busy, windy stretch of road with a speed limit of 80 at 6pm at night is ridiculous. For the fist couple of weeks I only ever drove around the empty-during-the-day industrial part of town until I was comfortable with driving around other cars at the proper speed.

I was driving home from work today on a sort of ‘short-cut’ back road, right behind an obviously new driver who was doing 40km/h. The. Entire. Way. Home. That’s half of what the speed limit is, plus I couldn’t overtake them because the road is so windy and there were a ton of cars driving in the opposite direction.
To compare, it took me 5 minutes to drive to work, and 25 to drive back.

I once caught my brother accidentally writing “Sprit” on one of our signatures, but he was able to fix the problem. I haven’t detected any more typos, but there are probably some defective ones we haven’t noticed.

I don’t think I make as much typos as I did about 4 mounths ago while writing something. I still make them, clearly. But less I think.

I start running some bath water and I walk away. I come back to the tub and realize that the stopper wasn’t completley covering the drain and not much water is in the tub. And I can’t keep running the water because most of the hot water is gone and I’m tired and I just wanna take a bath and go to sleep.

People who ride their bikes in the street. When I started noticing that people was doing it a few years ago, it was a little annoying how I would have to move over a bit into the next lane to pass them, but not a big deal. These days, people actually ride their bikes in the middle of the lanes and slow down traffic. And they seem to not have a care in the world. Recently his one lady moved into my lane and I had to slow down quickly because I was going about 40 and she wasn’t that far ahead of me when she did it. Then she shows no sense of urgency. She looks back at me with a smirk on her face as she slowly makes her way down the street. I had to drive behind her for almost two blocks. I was so angry.

There are some issues with the bicycle thing. For one, some places do not allow people to ride bikes on sidewalks. The city I live in is one of them! It’s kind of sad, if I ride on the sidewalk for a little bit people will complain and grumble, understandably, that it’s not allowed, but if I ride in the streets as safely as possible, cars will honk at me and tell me to get off the road.

Bicycles should essentially be treated as cars. They’re vehicles. I believe they can be in the middle of the lane, assuming you mean directly in front of a car. If everyone rode their bikes to the far right by the curb, there’s always the possibility of someone opening their parked car door and seriously hurting the cyclist. I like bike lines, personally—though they could be improved (someone recently made a popular video of bike lanes in NYC being blocked by moving trucks, cones, and other objects). I wish there were more of 'em. I’m not sure where you’re from, outsider, but I know America’s not a terribly bike-friendly country, and that makes me quite sad, as I don’t drive and would like to ride my bike as much as possible during warm weather without worrying about making people angry because I’m getting in their way or whatever. Some people on bikes are jerks, no doubt, but I still think people in cars are rude and ignorant to cyclists, and that certainly doesn’t help promoting cycling as a major mode of transportation within American cities.

I live in Los Angeles. I didnt think about the risk of riding close to parked cars. But screw the people complaining about people riding bikes on sidewalks. I guess my main problem is that there’s no sense of urgency when most people ride their bikes in the middle of the lane out here. Last week I was on my way to work and the lane I was in was moving very slowly. I was thinking that it had to do with the work being done to the streets. As more cars in front of me were able to get over into another lane, I see that it’s a man and a women both on bikes riding them in the middle of the lane like they don’t have a care in the world. If they were peddling fast, I wouldn’t have been mad about it. The sidewalk was bringing worked on so they had to get in the lane.

Going to Target, getting two or three items, and having to wait in line behind people who have a lot of stuff because the express lines are closed.

When theaters don’t turn the lights down after the movie starts. So I have to walk out and find an employee to let them know.

I don’t like it when bikes act like they can do whatever they want. They are supposed to follow the same rules cars are, and they can’t just pull out without looking and assume cars are going to stop for them.

I hate it when business call trying to sell something. Thank God for caller ID.

Oh, I know!! I hate that too!

Same thing happens to me. Yeah, I hate that too.

Sorry if I’m being gross, but it bothers me when people say names of certain body parts in places where it isn’t really polite.

Like one time, I was talking to a lady whose son was in my guitar lessons. We were in the waiting room before lessons where us and some other people were sitting. We were talking about a movie, and I was asking about the content. She came right out and said “They didn’t show ______ or ________.” It was sooo embarrasing, and she could have easily said that they didn’t show anything private.

I know she said the correct terms, but I personally don’t think it’s polite to bluntly say words like that in public when it’s not a doctor’s office or health class or something.

I hate when companys mess with foods I love and they don’t taste the same. I love Trix, but I haven’t bought a book in over a year. The first time I bought a box they were changed into swirls was the last time. I love Breyer’s Oreo Cookies and Cream ice cream. I just bought some after they started celebrating their 100th anniversary. For a limited time they created a birthday blast edition. The ice cream has sprinkles in it and it taste awful. I can’t even taste the Oreo’s. It taste like a cold cupcake with very little flavor.

I also hate that. If a company want’s to change the flaver of something that’s fine to me. But keep the original so the people who do like it can still enjoy it.

I agree with that too, though I can mostly get used to the new taste.

I know this may be off-topic but sweet mother of god, this has to be the WORST cover art for a video game I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

I CAN’T believe that’s official!

Seriously, that’s the worst cover art ever!

I know, right? I’m not the only one to criticise how ridiculous it is either. Gaming sites and videos on YouTube have bashed it. Apparently the game itself isn’t that bad, but the cover just doesn’t make any sense…at all.

Maybe I should start a thread about bad video game art. There’s just so much.

That is an incredibly stupid cover. It’s quite hilarious how dumb it is.

I’ve got more where that came from. This one is actually quite disturbing…

What does a guy having his eyes forced open with matchsticks have to do with Bust-A-Move?!?

That ones probably even more stupid^^. 8D
