BDD: Join the club. Right now, I am experiencing a problem with Windows Movie maker. I can’t add anymore clips.
I think it’s time to try a new movie maker.
BDD: Well, I’ll tell you I went through a phase where Windows Movie Maker annoyed me so much I decided to change. After trying many complex and detailed movie makers, I finally decided to stick with WMM.
I have also a problem with a movie maker. My brother gave me Sony Vegas Studio 8.0 and at first it didn’t work, I just couldn’t open the program. Then two weeks ago I finally got it to work and I immediately started working on a video. It is finished but every time I save it as avi or mp4 the screen turns black after the first scene. I even sent the project data to my brother and asked him to save it as avi or mp4, but it doesn’t work either. I just don’t know what I could do about it…
Back again!
The media is really getting on my nerves. Saw a video of paparazzi swarming the octuplet’s van like the meaning of life was inside there. Geesh, I thought there was a huge difference between journalists/photographers and a money-hungry maniacs with a camera.
Hey FounderofAzn, welcome back to Pixar Planet. We missed ya.
And I agree with you. Paparazzi can be really annoying and can be considered a cancer to some people who don’t need any more attention ore stress.
Maya has been getting on my nerves lately. We’re building our own characters in my 3D Modeling class and I thought I was done with my face shapes (they are for facial animation). When I was testing them, I found an evil vertice that is creating some weird crease where I don’t want it. I can’t get it to go away and my prof couldn’t either. He said he’d try getting “under the hood” of Maya. If he can’t fix it, I’ll have to redo all 10 of my face shapes and many of hours work! Augh! I’m home on spring break right now, but I’m stressing out about it! So much to do when I get back and I hope this isn’t one them!
Wow just found this topic.
Right now, the thing that annoys me the most on the planet is Blu=Ray/PS3 cases, but specifically the Blu-Ray ones. They’re about an inch shorter than regular DVD cases. WHAT THE HECK!? Seriously, who desgined this and why did they think it was a good idea? “Hey, I’ve got a great idea. Since we have a new format, let’s change the case too, to make it more different. We’ll just make them a little shorter.” Well guess what? Now, they don’t match up with my regular DVDs, so I’m gonna have a weird gap between the cases, that is only about an inch think! I mean, geez, if you’re gonna make it smaller, make it siginficantly smaller, like a CD case or something. I’ll still be ticked that it won’t match my DVD, but it’ll make a little more sense. No, instead, I have to stare at something, slightly shorer, and constantly think about how if it was raised only a little, my DVD rack would be nice and unifrom.
Then there’s the extra thing on the place where you typically open the case. (I don’t know what the technical term is). What’s it there for? Extra protection? Well, I guess it could prevent the case from opening if i dropped it. But wait, they already have those stupid tabs at the top and bottom of the side you open, so that’s already covered isn’t it!? Make it for harder for someone to steal? If someone breaks into my house, I don’t really think extra plastic will stop them from taking my copy of WALL-E.
And it’s blue? Why is it blue? Hey, I like blue alot, it’s a great color, but why the heck is it on my case? It should be black like my other DVDs! Yeah, I get that it’s called Blu-Ray. So, is the blue to further emphasize the point that it’s new and unique? Then what the heck was the smaller case for!?! It’s the same problem I have with Xbox cases, (although at least Sony picked blue instead of the puke green on Xbox.)
Note: I don’t actually own a Blu-Ray player, and this is one of the reasons why.
Edited for shouting. – Mitch
I’m really mad at my school right now. In my World History class, sombody stole my history book. Now I can’t find it. Not only can I not do my homework, but today I went to the library, and they said that if I can’t find it by the end of the year, they’re going to charge me $80 to replace it!
Ridiculous, right?
Wow, that stinks mo. I’ve had by books stolen as well, and I’ve alwasy wondered why someone would steal a textbook. There’s some sick peopel in the world.
Disney. UGGHH!!! It just BUGS me!!! I mean, most of it’s great (like Disney World ) but I’m talking about the Jonas brothers and Hannah Montana!! EVERYBODY is OBSESSED with them!! Oh, and listen to this: I saw the Bolt DVD in Blockbuster and one review thingy on the front said AND I QUOTE- “one of Disney’s best films since The Incredibles!!” Disney takes credit for Pixar’s films!! I hate it!! And on the original Toy Story VHC case, it said Disney’s Toy Story. GYAAAAAAD!!!
BURN-E what you seem to forget… is without Disney Pixar wouldn’t have been able to get their media and entertainment to the masses in such a Successful way!
Well Chelsea steel themselves a place in the Champions League Semi-Finals… Diving, bunged referee who’s arms only knows how to point one way and needs a bit of wind to point in the opposite direction…
Easter holidays are so boring… Although going back to Uni on the 27th is going to prove a testing time with my first teaching practise due only 2 weeks after!
And US firms ripping the heart and soul of their European Sales particularly with export prices… I’m in the middle of purchasing a HSM Basketball Kit (for teaching purposes)… and I’ve been quoted P&P of $75 for the kit alone… Its so Frustrating
Printers are annoying. Or, rather, printing software. Had to reinstall it all just to get something printed out, dagnabbit.
Ha! I saw that review excerpt, as well. Made me mad, it did. As if Bolt could beat out Ratatouille and WALL•E over the years.

PS2. It won’t stop freezing right in the middle of a game (one time I had to beat a hard boss THREE TIMES because of this). One time it kept saying my KH2 disk was not a PS2 or PS1 disk even though it obviously was, and when I stuck in KH1 it worked just fine for some reason! Today it stopped working altogether, and Al-Bob said it was probably a faulty laser and I’ll need to get it fexed or buy a new one GRRRRRRR!!!
Nowadays, it’s sad that people can’t tell the difference between a Disney animated movie and a Pixar animated movie that Disney simply markets. I know a lot of people who, when I talk about Pixar, randomly interject something about Meet the Robinsons or Bolt, and every single time I have to correct them. sigh

What grinds my gears is people who won’t take Disney Classics seriously, and make fun of them. HOW COULD THEY? Granted, they may not be interested in animation and I can respect that, but that doesn’t mean I can respect them mocking it like just a weekend morning cartoon. And yet they say I’m the one who’s missing out on the really good stuff. They don’t know what they’re missing, do they? Pity.
Oh, and also, I just got slightly annoyed at this, but I can get over it: I just saw Lilo and Stitch on Disney channel yesterday, and during the really touching, tearjerking moment, an advertisement for JONAS popped up on the bottom of the screen to try to distract the audience. It didn’t block the movie at all, but seriously- don’t they advertise it enough without having to make them pop up in movies?
You know what’s grinding my gears right now? One word… allergies. I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight.
Aww, mo, that’s horrible! I’ll be praying for a good night’s sleep for you tonight, regardless.
Whenever someone says they are suffering from allergies, I can’t help but think of my fanmade character, Van Haskell, who has a horrible problem with allergies year-round. (Van is my “humanized” version of VA-QM, in case you’re wondering. It’s in my vignette collection, Mutual Misfits.) Sorry, I just can’t help but make the comparison…
I really, really hope you feel better, mo! Hang in there…
BDD: Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. Classic Disney nowadays seems to be so underrated by many an average teen. What do they think the Jonas bros and Hannah Montana are the “new wave” for Disney? As Fillmore is known for saying, “Respect the classics, maaaan!” He is so right! Come on teens, seriously… get your act together.

Weight painting is getting on my nerves. I’m doing the finishing touches of my model in Maya for my 3D Modeling class. Weight painting is how you designate which bones affect which part of the model. It is a nit picky technical job and It’s driving me up the wall! Can’t get things to work right. Just want to be done! Only a couple days left though…
