You know what really grinds my gears?

It taste really good but doesn’t last long.

Ah.

I hate rendering and baking…they’re boring…

Where does the term grind my gears come from?

You know I don’t know.

I once saw it on a episode of Family Guy, not sure before that.

I mean, it’s just like frosting my cookies or boiling my blood. It’s just a saying people coin to express feelings of annoyance.

I have this one friend that does something (that I shall not explain at this moment) litterally 100 times a day. And I’m trying to get her to stop because it’s not only unhealthy, but there is a difference between being obsessed with something and just having no life. It’s annoying as heck for me trying my best.

THIS RENDER IS TAKING TOO LONG!!!
and where’s everyone on the contact short? We need to finish.

Haha, I think anyone into the digital arts can relate to that first sentence. xD

Yeah especially 3D CGI.

^ Seconded

I’m annoyed at my puppy for biting at me when I wanted to take him for a walk.

I’m annoyed at the fact that a lot of the things I’m fans of are prone to “losers in their basements” jokes. XD

Oh I hate those jokes. Actually, I’ve heard them all.

Fans are…

  • losers in their basements
  • live with their mommies
  • have no life
  • have no job
  • etc

It’s so immature. Yet I know a lot of people that are huge fans of something that have perfectly normal lives.

What grinds my gears is when people make a big deal about a person’s height. Whether it’s being taller than average or shorter, it’s just annoying.

^I agree totally. I’m 5’0", and I hate it when my family and buddies call me short. :imp:

Anyway, my gears are very grinded, and have been for a couple of days. But alas, I can not say why, as it is a person here.

It kind of grinds my gears that I’m going to be spending a lot of this summer alone, since two of my sisters are in school, one is working, and I can’t drive. :frowning:

Aw, I’m sorry. :frowning: My annoyance in pure anger, rather than sadness.

I’m somewhat short, I guess, but that has never bothered me.

It definitely bothers me. Oh well, at least Rapunzel is short. That makes me feel better somehow. 8D
