You know what really grinds my gears?

Okay, I’m jealous of your birthday. I’m born and raised Texan and I’ve never been able to do that for my birthday!

Actually, this year we missed school on my birthday because of snow. I was super upset - I swear I’m the only person who likes to go to school on my birthday - but everyone on my friends list from Facebook left me a note, which really shocked me.

But ugh, I never want to miss school again on my b-day. I hated it xP

I totally understnad you wanting to go to school on your birthday, with the balloons and your friends decorating your locker and everything…I haven’t had a school day birthday for 2 years, since both times its either been during spring break or on a weekend.

I agree. Believe me, I can’t control my anger when the computer freezez up.

Rac, actually, I was having some of those issues myself this week. Which, other than the fact that I want to do what I want on my birthday, is the major reason I didn’t want to go swimming.

This year my birthday planning is driving me crazy because I can’t think of anything to do. :frowning:

Aw, I’m sorry! What month is it in?

It’s in August, but my mom always wants me to start planning around this time of year.

Oh! See Winnie the Pooh with your family!

That’s a neat idea, even though my parents will think I’ve gone insane. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know it’s summer, and it’s a beautiful day outside, but my brother doesn’t care about what his chores are to do today, he want to go outside and have fun with his friends, leaving me, my twin and sister to take care of the house all by ourselves.

What really grinds my gears right now is that I’m at coding class and forgot my glasses. I would read the coding we’re copying off of the guy next to me, if he didn’t spend every free second playing tetris (and I mean every. Free. Second.) I ended up having to move up to the front of the class, and the board is still a little fuzzy.

EDIT: Guess what? I just had to switch computers again because the computer I was at ended up getting a really bad “XP Antivirus 2012” virus that prevented me from doing my work. It is really, really not my day.

Or, for those who couldn’t be bothered to read, some high up hotshot from the goverment complaining about the lack of intelligence and work ethic of todays “youth”.

Well yes, Iain Duncan Smith. If we took away your cushy upbringing, if we scrapped university grants and places and raised fees up to an indispensible £9000 a year, if we told you that there were no jobs to go round, and yet there was no effort whatsoever to train you in any field of note, if you were constantly slammed by society for having a set of exams considered “too easy” and that your efforts are worthless, and that every teenager is a “hoodie” tarred with the same brush with no hope and aspirations and who cannot, allegedly, read or write…then yes, I would feel uninspired too.

You complain about todays young people, and yet you and your goverment were the ones that educated us. You say we have no work ethic, when quite frankly, what incentive is there when we get paid peanuts, when we are told that our hard work is useless. Just remember who’s going to be caring for you 50 years down the line.

Rac_Rules - I’m sorry to hear that all happened to you!

Has anyone heard of this Bill S.978 ?

I hate it when people leave carts in the middle of the street, especially when the cart is 5 feet away from the thing you put it in.

I hate when people steal the carts from the toy store in the mall and then proceed to use them around the entire mall. o_0

Half the people who drive grind my gears.

8D Oh boy…I’m yet to discover that but I will soon I’m sure.

What grinds my gears is when people who work for the government (making plenty of money from our taxes) mess something up. I understand they are humans but it annoys me when they get an attitude because they have to fix it… :unamused:

Lol, story of like, everything. xD

Summer reading. 'nuff said.

GIMP grids my gears sometimes. Just edit the images the way I want, darn it!
