If a certian female car is not in Cars 2 don’t count on me seeing it 
.I like Lightning and Mater,but I want Sally and the other characters in there too.

Has new information been released about Cars 2? I didn’t realise Sally might not make the cut! That would be a bit weird, though, surely…I can’t see how there can be a logical storyline that follows on from the original without her.

Then why exactly are you posting a thread about this if there is still a large chance of her being in the movie! But a thread about Doc or Fillmore not returning would be more suitable being that they both have dead voice actors (may they rest in peace).
I’m quite sure Sally will be in Cars 2. I don’t know why she wouldn’t be. Everyone would just be confused.
I was also thinking about this! on Yahoo! Movies it just says Lightning and Mater. I think that if they show any of Sarge, Sally, Filmore, or the rest of the gang there’s a possibility that it will only be in the beginning and maybe the end .
That is what I was thinking. Like, it would play a Legally Blonde 2 (I HATED that movie!) and put the boyfriend/girlfriend in the very beginning and end.
But why would Pixar do that? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m not exactly enthralled with the idea of a Cars 2 in the first place, but this is still Pixar after all and I’m sure that despite it being a sequel, they’re not gonna forget about all of the stuff that makes Pixar films special. And not including some of the key characters from the original would just be a bit strange.
Well, the movie isn’t coming out just yet. We still got quite a ways to go. 
I understand where you are coming from a bit because with TS3 I have yet to hear anything about Woody’s girlfriend, Bo Peep. I did hear the entire voice cast is back (cept of course those who sadly passed away), but Bo?! Where is she? I’m probably just worried over nothing, but ugh I want information. It’ll be confirmed soon though…I hope.
If the original cast in Cars doesn’t come back then I will be sad also because even though I only saw Cars once (don’t know why it was only once… just did), I still liked it and would love to see a second. I won’t sweat it much just yet because the movie isn’t coming out soon. (Like a year soon)

I was thinking the same thing…Bo doesn’t even show up on the cast list for Toy Story 3 on IMDB. It’s awfully strange that it seems like Pixar is leaving out key characters
I think some of you are jumping to conclusions here. Cars 2 is a couple of years away, so maybe wait until the full trailers are released before you assume that key characters are being left out of Cars 2 and Toy Story 3. Otherwise, unless you hear different, you should assume that all your favourite characters will be back again.
Was Bo Peep not a figurine on Andy’s sister Molly’s lamp? If so, then why would Andy give her away to a daycare centre? (If that is indeed going to be the story.) So, she actually may not be in it - at least not much…
As for Cars 2, I suspect Sally will be in it for a fair bit, but I guess we will just have to wait and see…
Or a Speed 2. Bullock returns, but Reeves wisely chose to opt out. Which was fortunate for him, cos’ save for the opening chase and the climax, that movie sucked donkey butt. 
But yeah, I hope to Chrysler that Sally makes a return for this, she’s my favourite character from the entire movie. 
Yeah I think its too soon to start assuming who will and will not be in it. It’s still about 3 years away, is it not? Therefore I’m sure there hasnt been too much finalized yet. Plus the info we have to go on isnt that extensive. However, i cant really imagine Sally not being in it, although if this is going to focus mostly on Lightning & Mater, her role will most likely be reduced.

Sally WILL be in Cars 2. theres no reason why theyd cut her out. Shes one of the main characters along with Lightnings woman.
There’s your problem.
Pixar almost never does what you expect them to do. Casting doubts without evidence is bound to make you look dumb when the movie comes out. It’s done that to me multiple times.

Uuum, I don’t know much about Cars 2, but I’m very excited for it, and Sally will be in it. She just will. Why would you think she wouldn’t? I need to see your sources…
