so who’s your favorite tank gang character ? besides
gill , of course . everybody loves him . 
I would have to say peach . She’s one of the only sane
members left . Probably because she’s from ebay . She was probably in a bigger tank before and had other
starfish to hang out with .
Definitely Gurgle
– I have loved him ever since I first saw Finding Nemo, which probably explains why
he is my second favorite character in the film.
To tell you the truth, I’m not quite certain why I am
fond of that particular character. I think the fact that he is a neat-freak (which is me all over) makes me feel
as if I have something in common with him, so that is one possible explaination. Also, my favorite color is
purple, sooo…
Nice poll, gottalovepixar. I’m glad we finally have a
new Finding Nemo topic of discussion. 
I voted Peach because not only do I like her personality,
but there’s something about the quality of her voice which makes it really down to earth and comforting. And I
think the quote ‘Ebay!’ is one of the best from FN, despite its simplicity.
I picked Gloat,
but I also love Bubbles … though he’s not on the list. =P

Finding Nemo [/i] last night , and I noticed I can’t watch the deleted scene about Gill supposed to
not really be from the ocean . It just makes me think " what ?! omg he’s a traitor , but not in the real
movie . So is he from the ocean or not ? " It justs conteracts with the actual film , and just like Andrew
Stanton said " It makes Gill look like the bad guy " , and that’s bad . O.k. , now i’m getting a bit
off-topic here .
I always like how Bloat and Gurgle fought about the dental instrument . It’s kind of
funny , and makes them really look like the fish of a dentist , them knowing all that stuff .
Well, I dodn’t know who to pick. Gill was always my
favorite tank gang member.
Which is why I
put besides Gill . Everybody loves Gill . lol

I know. Gill is an excellent leader. And I love the person who plays his voice.
The Star Swordsman - That would be William Dafoe. He also plays the Green Goblin in
Spider Man.
I know. That is why I love him so much.
During the commentary on the dvd , Andrew ( I think it
was him ) said that the best part about Dafoe was that he could do an intiminating (scary) yet caring voice
.
I never noticed that. I though he
wanted someone that is a combination of a leader and a loner.
Surprised someone wanted to post new
thread about favourite tank gang fish.
Welp if Bubbles had been in the Poll I would have gave my vote to him
since he is my 1st favorite char in the Tank Gang.
But in this case it was not possible. So I gave it to the
one and only Deb (or Flo, whichever you may say) the
individual forward from my 1st.
I find Deb quite silly because of her [i]Reflected
Sister[/i] just like I do with Bubbles for all the bubbles he sees. But who can blame them? It’s
thoughtful because Deb believes Her reflection on the wall is her only sister and none of the tank gang has the
courage to only go to Her at the least and tell her that Her reflection on the glass of the tank is only herself;
Bubbles is obsessed with any type of bubble he sees for he probably has adored them since the beginning.
I
don’t find either one of them necessarily crazy. I find it heartful to both. I confidently know that they cared
for Nemo very much because they are caring to others as they are to themselves (Even the the [u]tail
fin[/u] of Deb is something to see by the seemingly loving goodness She contains), just as Gill and
the rest are as well. For example on them, what if that was the only thing/person that they had left? What if
something as that or related was the only thing one of us had left, in our OWN lives?
I believe that many (If
not all) individuals of FN leave us some kind of thing that allow us to think of how it can be in our daily
lives, etc.
Many people out in the world are not like many of us who are here on PP currently. They could be
helpless, they could be lonely, there can be many things to it. But I’ am only setting an example on this.
Well my
fav too would have been Gill. But i picked Gurgle because I just thought he was so amusing the way he would freak
out over stuff.
gottalovepixar - Yeah, I remember Mr. Stanton saying something like that. It sure
shows through his character…
Dory’s Defender - Interesting. I like how
you mentioned that Deb’s heart-shaped tail fin expresses her personality, in a way.
I remember that,
during the director’s commentary, one of the commentators (Andrew Stanton, I believe) described how they were
trying to imagine what would happen to someone – or a group of people – if they were trapped in a boxed
environment for a long period of time. They’d probably go crazy after a while, obviously. But how, exactly,
would that affect them? What would they do to keep themselves occupied? How would they handle the pressure of
containment? It was really quite interesting…

I listed it , but usually when it’s the last one , it knocks it off . I
didn’t notice it until after I voted .
I voted for Deb/ Flo because I thought she provided some
great comic relief.
But they all played really great and diverse roles didn’t they?
You’ve got
Gill the wise fish and the leader.
Peach was the one who knew what was going on in the office.
Deb/ Flo and
bubbles provided, as I said, great comics.
Gurgle gives us the reality check.
And Bloat was there for when
anyone needed him.
Gasduude : Really , i always thought Bloat was there for if they got bored and
wanted to play volleyball . lol
