temt: Musicals are certainly
very fun, although I still carry a teeny-tiny grudge against them, mainly because I can’t sing to save my life
and therefore can’t act in them, although from an audience standpoint I still can’t help but love them.
I’ve only seen a few of the ones that you mentioned, but Amadeus is definitely an excellent film. Even if his
laugh does start making you cringe after the fifth time.
And speaking of musical films, I just saw Little
Shop of Horrors the other day, because my mom said that it was sort of a cult classic and that I needed to see
it.
It was a fun movie, and maybe it’s just me, but I found several aspects of Seymour’s conflict to be
fairly similar to Macbeth, only with a happier ending in this instance. I recommend it if you haven’t seen it,
but it’s not something that you have to rush out and rent this instant or anything.

Two words, folks: Star Wars.
The extent of my SW fandom is probably terrifying to mere
mortals. Not only do I bop around in costumes, but I have an entire bookcase full of nothing but Star Wars
novels. In fact, it’s kind of overflowing now. Plus, I love playing the computer games. I’d say I adore the
whole franchise, but that would be untrue since I think the Clone Wars cartoons were an abomination. However, I
adore A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and 50% of Revenge of the Sith (plus 20% and
costumes in Attack of the Clones). So much love for Darth Vader, man.
I have seen Little Shop of Horrors- just I haven’t watched it since I was
… five or six, I believe. It’s been so long, but I remember it as being a cool film- sorta frightened me to
find out later that Steve Martin played that biker dude
I was in the city when it was playing on
Broadway, but sadly I didn’t get to see it- my littlest sister did, and she said it was cool. I regret going to
see ‘Beauty and the Beast’ instead, though that was enjoyable.
I like
Facing the Giants it is a good movie!!!
Yeah I saw it 3 days ago it’s cool.

New fave movie on the list: The Fearless
Vampire Killers!!! A 1967 film, by Roman Polanski. Sooo funny! Be sure to check it out.
Some other I love are: Longest Yard, Rush Hour, X-Men,
Spider-Man, and other movies. It is hard to name some right now.
I liked X-men and X-men 2, TSS, but not the third one. The other two had really epic
storylines and battles, but the third seemed a bit stale. And they killed off the weird woman who can change into
anything! How dare they!
I am compelled to disagree with you. CW was a
highly stylised show in the same grain as Samurai Jack, and had lots of cool action and elaboration between
Episodes II and III. In fact, I saw the last episode of CW just before I saw Episode III, so it was cool going
straight into the continuation of the story. I knew why Grevious was wheezing and
limping. [spoil]It was because in the closing moments of the show, Mace Windu force-crushed his
chest.[/spoil]
Movies I Particularly Like (This is cream of the crop stuff):
The Usual
Suspects
American Beauty
Scary Movies 1 and 2
The Matrix (Not the Sequels)
The Ace
Venturas
Toys
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (The best of the four so far)
Ocean’s Eleven
(The remake, first watched the night after I watched Monsters, Inc. for the first
time)
Back to the Future Trilogy
Terminator 2
Star Trek 2
Star Wars Episodes III - VI
Lord of the
Rings
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Gone in 60 Seconds (Doctor Who - I mean Chris
Eccleston - was so cool in it)
Batman and Batman Begins
Superman, Superman II and Superman Returns
I actually liked the third one. It was pretty intense,
but it isn’t up there in my top favorite movies.
What are my favourite non-animated films, you ask?
Well, perform the
following steps and you will succeed in finding the answer:
- Look at my signature
- Click on
“My List of Favorite Films”
3. Once you get there you’ll see a list (obviously)
4. Take out the
animated films in the list (i.e., all the Pixar films and Wallace and Gromit)
5. VOILA! You have yourself
CountSolo’s list of favorite non-animated films
Some honorable mentions:
-Amadeus
-Finding
Neverland
-Dr. Strangelove (I’m not even going to attempt to type the full title
)
-Mr. Smith Goes to
Washington
-King Kong
There are many others, but those are just some of the greatest that I’ve seen
that didn’t make it to my list.
