I keep forgetting to post this, but…
Is it just me, or does Pixar justify animal experimentation in the scene where Emile explains how rats were a method of finding cures for human diseases?
I mean, he talks about it without condemning how cruel rat testing can be.
How would he like it if he was kidnapped and taken to some vivisection laboratory to test out a new weight loss drug or whatever? This process is the opposite of fun-n-games.
Animal testing=UGH. 
RMSH- It was meant as a joke that the rats themselves where doing the experimentation for the humans, and Remy seems proud of that. Remember, they where showing rat “accomplishments”, like traveling into space.
