I didn’t actually buy these DVDs (my parents did), but these are the newest DVDs that I have
(the ones that I received after Cars):
Searching
for Bobby Fischer - A masterpiece that deserves much more credit than people give
it. This was the last movie that made it to my list of top films before I went to university. My parents bought
the DVD upon my request (of course I said “Please!” ). It has no bonus features, which is a little
disappointing, but at least I own the movie.
United
93 - This film kept me at the edge of my seat right until the very end. A fitting
tribute to those who passed away in that awful day of 9/11.
The
Godfather - Not for little kiddies, but a masterpiece
nevertheless.
The Godfather: Part II - Not as
good as the original but a masterpiece nevertheless.
The Godfather: Part
III - Not as good as the second one but a masterpiece nevertheless (despite Sofia
Coppola’s horrendous performance - fortunately, it wasn’t as obtrusive to the film as many people say it
is)
By the way, the last three came in a box set; there was a fourth DVD which included the special
features
