~~=oP
I bought The Big Lebowski yesterday for ?3! So cheap.
lizardgirl: xD I bought that yesterday also!
Watched it last night. And I bought this four-pack of DVDs for 20 bucks, that’s apparently a Hugh Grant
collection or something … I only bought it for ‘About A Boy’ and
‘Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason’. It had 'Love
Actually’ too, a movie that rocks my socks but I lost my original copy. And this other film
‘Notting Hill’ that I’ve never seen in my life. But my mom likes Julia Roberts so
I figured what the heck. And I’ve heard good things.
Before that, I purchased 'James and
the Giant Peach’ and ‘Willow’. Both excellent films. 'Twas my
first time seeing Willow, and I wish I saw it when I was a kid because it was
awesome. x3
I got three dvds for only 50 which isnt
bad considering they were all new releases;l Plus I got them in oregon so no tax! The iron Giant special edition
was only 10 bucks
I am really lame. The last DVD I got was back in November. It was Cars. Sadly, I have
nothing I can add to my collection. But I still have some DVDs that I want.

The Star Swordsman - Ha –
that’s me as well. The last dvd I purchased was Cars, and the only reason I
haven’t bought anything else lately is because I’m too poor to do it.
Well, I’m broke now, thanks to
those DVDs. I need a job. =P
My last dvd i
bought was Cars . But that is mostly because my family uses Netflix , the dvd
renting place online . I love it ! It’s so totally wicked !

The last DVD that I
bought was King Kong: Deluxe Extended Edition.
And I would highly reccomend it! Peter Jackson has put 13
minutes of extra footage back into the film. Plus, you get really cool bonus features on all three discs!
Including a documentary on the making of the movie, which is over 3 hours long!
Well, I guess there hasn’t been anything that fits my category.

FONY - Haha – well, get a
job then. Then you’ll be able to buy more dvds.
(snigger)
gottalovepixar - Hey, one of my aunts also orders dvds from Netflix
– according to you and her, it is an excellent company. Perhaps I should check it out?
The Star Swordsman - Yeah, me neither. Well, actually, I take that back. I
have been wanting these dvds for some time now:
Air
Buddies
Animaniacs, Season 1
Pinky and the Brain,
Season 1
Ren and Stimpy
I grew up watching the last three,
so I want 'em!
Oh I love animaniacs and Pinky and the brain, but there is a site called youtube where
I can see those.

Oh yeah – I almost forgot about youtube! Heh – here I am, complaining that I don’t
have the things, when I can just view them on the internet.
But…it is still better (and more fun) to
watch them on a big screen tv.
I’ve also been hankering to get my hands on The Little
Mermaid on dvd for a long time. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to spend my money on it…yet.
It
is better to see it on the TV. I will agree with that. But sometimes, watching it on your computer is
better.
I’m sooo behind on Disney DVDs. I’ve been meaning to get special editions for
so long. They get expensive once they’re ‘back in the vault’. I know, 'cause I recieved a used
‘Beauty and the Beast’ but it didn’t have disc 2 that I wanted- I think they’re
going for 40 bucks. At least, I know ‘Sleeping Beauty’ is. xP

The Star Swordsman -
Sometimes watching it on the computer is better, eh? I assume you’re referring to the difference in price tags.
FONY - Holy smokes – $40 bucks? That’s a rip-off! What is it with that
whole “Disney Vault” thing, anyway?
Heh – but I’m getting off the subject.
I didn’t actually buy these DVDs (my parents did), but these are the newest DVDs that I have
(the ones that I received after Cars):
Searching
for Bobby Fischer - A masterpiece that deserves much more credit than people give
it. This was the last movie that made it to my list of top films before I went to university. My parents bought
the DVD upon my request (of course I said “Please!” ). It has no bonus features, which is a little
disappointing, but at least I own the movie.
United
93 - This film kept me at the edge of my seat right until the very end. A fitting
tribute to those who passed away in that awful day of 9/11.
The
Godfather - Not for little kiddies, but a masterpiece
nevertheless.
The Godfather: Part II - Not as
good as the original but a masterpiece nevertheless.
The Godfather: Part
III - Not as good as the second one but a masterpiece nevertheless (despite Sofia
Coppola’s horrendous performance - fortunately, it wasn’t as obtrusive to the film as many people say it
is)
By the way, the last three came in a box set; there was a fourth DVD which included the special
features
40 bucks sweet mother of lumpy cheese! i got my alladin 2
disc secial edition, my littler mermaid special edition 2 disc for 19.99 each and I got a penny back
I finally bought Cars yesterday! It was great to see it after so long.
