Your Pixar Movies Classification

Mm, I can empathise, Monsters Inc is rather low on my list but I love it to pieces, and I did still like A Bug’s Life a great deal.

Here’s my list

1.Toy Story 3
2.Toy Story
3.WALL-E
4.A Bug’s Life
5.Toy Story 2
6.Monsters Inc.
7.The Incredibles
8.Cars
9.Up
10.Finding Nemo
11.Ratatouile

XcarluverX, you’re being really mean to Leon. I can feel the flame from over here.

Leon, I understand that that upset you, and I’m sorry. But please try not to swear. I don’t want you getting in trouble.

Leon, don’t take it personally. xCarsLuverx is sort of known for getting overly angry at people who don’t really like Cars, so yeah.

But I can definitely relate to all your points on why you don’t like it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree with the rest. You really should keep the tone down when talking to people who don’t like it as much as you do, xCarsLuver. I don’t necessarily enjoy it when people tell me how much they don’t like HtTYD (lol the only one Dreamworks movie I enjoy far more than some Pixar movies ), but I let it pass and keep my cool, because everyone can have their own opinion and say what they want. If they didn’t like it, then fine. You can state why you like it, but don’t turn it into an argument or turn someone’s words around to say they’re purposely hating on you or the movie. At least, that’s the mature way to respond.

That aside.

My list. Because I don’t believe I’ve made one.

  1. WALL-E
  2. Ratatouille
  3. Finding Nemo
  4. Up
  5. Monsters Inc.
  6. Toy Story 2
  7. A Bug’s Life
  8. Toy Story 3
  9. Toy Story
  10. Cars
  11. The Incredibles

And as a side-note, I have cried watching all of these except for ABL, MI, TI, Cars, and TS. xDD

little chef

I’m just as bad, so I’m trying not to over react, but I really don’t want our new members being hurt or offended and leave. It’s really awful to feel like the rest of the forum hates you, and I can tell you from experience. It’s awful. He dislikes Car, so what? He’s allowed to do that, even on a Pixar forum.

My stars, this is the second thread where Leon has been attacked for his beliefs!

I do believe in nonharmful discussions and debates, but I feel that Leon is being attacked. Now, I may not agree with him on his view of Cars (especially about Antz being better) but that’s his opinion, and I support it, because that’s how he feels. And besides, saying such mean things to him must defintely NOT make him like Cars. It’ll probably make him dislike it even more.

Saying he’s not a Pixar fan just because he didn’t enjoy one movie makes no sense. Yeah, so he doesn’t like Cars. There are a few Looney Tune episodes I dislike, but does that make me not a total nutjob fan of their brilliance? Not at all!

Leon you dislike Cars and say it’s childless. As a Cars fan, I respectfully disagree with you, but I hope you stay around because you’re a great member!

Live and Let live, Peace & respect xoxo, Kenzie

xCarsLuverx- What you are saying to Leon can be considered as a personal attack, so you’d better cease immediately. Leon has not attacked a single member of these forums and is allowed his own opinion- an opinion that he backed up with clear reasoning. I recommend that you apologise to Leon as soon as possible and that you refrain from such attacks in the future.

Leon, I apologise that myself or the other mods hadn’t nipped this in the bud more quickly. If you ever have any concerns or complaints about anything that happens on these boards, feel free to send a PM to myself or one of the other mods. Once again, I apologise.

Um,this thing ended a long time ago…

That may be true, but for whatever reason no mods had picked up on this or the other heated conversation that had recently happened, and as far as I can see Leon has been attacked for having what could be considered a ‘controversial’ opinion without any apology from those that attacked him. It’s up to you if you want to apologise to him, but remember that such personal attacks on members aren’t tolerated here.

I personally believe NO Pixar film deserves to be called “bad” coughCarsbugslifecough.See the thing is even the movies I’m not so fond of I at least try to find something positive…And if you can’t then that’s your problem for nitpicking and being negaitive in the first place…

Anyways ranting aside…

1)Cars
2)Toy Story 3
3)WALL-E
4)Finding Nemo
5)Bugs Life
6)Ratatouille
7)Up
:sunglasses:Toy Story 2
9)Monsters Inc.
10)Toy Story
11)The Incredibles

I’m a little scatterbrained, so I can’t remember if I have posted in this forum or not.

  1. Wall-E
  2. Toy Story 3
  3. Up
  4. Cars
  5. Ratatouille
    6.The Incredibles
  6. Toy Story 2
  7. Finding Nemo
    9.Monsters Inc.
    10.Toy Story
  8. A bugs life

I think I’ll redo my list.

1.)Toy Story 2/The Incredibles
2.)Up
3.)Toy Story
4.)Ratatouille
5.)Toy Story 3
6.)Cars
7.)A Bug’s Life
8.)Wall-E
9.)Monsters, Inc.
10.)Finding Nemo

Wow. My list seems wrong, but every time I change it, it still seems wrong. I love Wall-E, MI, and ABL so much!! I also thought Cars would be higher. I wish they could all be in my top 5. :frowning: They’re all in my top 50 favorite movies, except for FN.

Here is my list, in brackets are my opinions, take them or leave them.

1: Toy Story 3 (the pixar movie that made me emotionally break down in the cinema, a film of feeling, heart, soul, fun, sadness, a great end to a wondrous series, I grew up with these characters and I believe another sequel would spoil what this film did, animation is not just for children, it is for everyone and this film absolutely proved that.)
2: The Incredibles (huge fan of the superhero genre and this film was fantastic, would love to see a sequel to this.)
3: Wall-E (Sci-Fi woooo and I was at the movie night for this. soooooo much fun.)
4: Toy Story 2 (higher than Toy Story because of the new characters introduced here.)
5: Toy Story (This and 2 would be higher but I wanted to give recognition to the other pixar films I love. I love the Toy Story series, my name sake and avatar come from it but it’s nice to watch films not from the toy box every once in a while)
6: Ratatouille (a film me and my sister quote a lot, very funny and feel good ending  )
7: Finding Nemo (just keep swimming just keep swimming, not much to say about this, i just enjoy it)
8: Cars (another of my sister’s favorites, very different from the rest of pixar’s films but still great)
9: Monster’s Inc (Mad and funny and Randall is awesome)
10: Bug’s Life (used to like this a lot more when I was younger but still and interesting film with a great villain)
11: Up (I like this film as well, nothing against it, but compared to the others I am not as keen on it)

Neat list, YouAreAToy!! I especially like your #2. 8D

Good list you guys! I’m liking it.

I mind as well redo mine, it’s been some time.

  1. WALL-E
  2. Ratatouille
  3. Up
  4. Finding Nemo
  5. Toy Story 3
  6. Cars
  7. Toy Story 2
  8. a bug’s life
  9. Toy Story
  10. Monsters, Inc
  11. The Incredibles

Heck, I’ll just redo my list. I’m pretty sure I wrote it somewhere here, but I don’t want to go fish for it.

  1. Finding Nemo
  2. Monsters, Inc.
  3. WALL-E
  4. Ratatouille
  5. A Bug’s Life
  6. Up
  7. Toy Story
  8. Toy Story 2
  9. Toy Story 3
  10. Cars
  11. The Incredibles

…I’m pretty sure that’s all the movies. It took me a while to actually sort out my favorites in my head.

Good list you got there! And yep, you covered them all.

I’m gonna have a hard time doing this. I’ll undoubtly end up coming back and redoing it.

  1. Wall-E (2008)
  2. Monsters, Inc. (2001)
  3. A Bug’s Life (1998)
  4. UP! (2009)
  5. Finding Nemo (2003)
  6. Toy Story 3 (2010)
  7. The Incredibles (2004)
  8. Toy Story (1995)
  9. Ratatouille (2007)
  10. Toy Story 2 (1999)
  11. Cars (2006)

Like others have said, I don’t believe any of these films are considered “bad”-not Cars and certainly not ABL, imo. The list is a personal one, and not on the basis of how good they critically or in terms of filmmaking-there are a few that I have strong personal attachments to (like ABL and MI), and some that I just adored (like Wall-E and UP), and of course films that I still enjoyed but not to the extent of the above (Cars, and, a little ashamedly really, the Toy Story series).

Nice list, definedancing!!
