Sorry about the wait, but here it is with seven more users joining the party! I hope it isn’t confusing…
POST WALL-E PIXARPLANET USERS’ TOP FILMS
Here were the rules for your list to be counted:
1. You had to have a complete list. All nine movies, ranked in order. 2. If you had a tie, I flipped a coin (very scientific, I know…) 3. I only used the latest version of your list
The format goes like this:
1. (score went up) / (score went down) Title (Average rank) (Last calculation’s place)
BASED ON AVERAGE RANK 1.WALL-E (2.52) (1st) 2.Ratatouille (3.24) (2nd) 3.The Incredibles (4.24) (4th) 4.Finding Nemo (4.29) (3rd) 5.Toy Story 2 (5.48) (5th) 6.Toy Story (5.62) (7th) 7.Monsters, Inc. (5.67) (6th) 8.A Bug’s Life (6.71) (8th) 9.Cars (7.24) (9th)
This ranks the movie by the total number of top three finishes. The format is…
1. (place went up) / (place went down) / (place stayed the same) Title (# of finishes) (Last calculation’s place)
BASED ON TOP 3 FINISHES 1.WALL-E (18) (1st) 2.Ratatouille (13) (2nd) 3.Finding Nemo (9) (3rd) 4.The Incredibles (7) (4th) 5.Toy Story (4) (6th) 6.Toy Story 2 (3) (5th) 7.Monsters, Inc. (3) (7th) 8.Cars (3) (8th) 9.A Bug’s Life (3) (9th)

oh my!! How is A Bug’s Life doing so bad!! It’s such a good film haha, psh. Maybe with all those new updates at Pixar Place they’ll produce something ‘buggy’ to remind people about it as it is sort of the oldest one minus Toy Story but that is coming back isn’t it.
Pixelated - Interesting statistics! Thanks for sharing them with us.
I have, once again, updated my list:
1.Ratatouille 2.WALL•E 3.Finding Nemo 4.Toy Story 2 5.Toy Story 6.The Incredibles 7.Monsters, Inc. 8.A Bug’s Life 9.Cars
The only difference is that I have moved The Incredibles one door down. For some reason, I could never get into that film as much as others, possibly because I’m just not a big superhero/comic book fan/geek. Nevertheless, I still have a great deal of respect for that masterpiece, because it is nothing less than that: a masterpiece. I loved it, but I just… couldn’t get too deeply into it for some reason. Heh.
Don’t worry that TI isn’t one of your favorites Mitch. I can say the same thing about WALL-E. It was a materpiece and a brilliant piece of art, but I just didn’t like it. I also didn’t get into it.
You know, you’re not the only one. Both my mom and sister were not crazy about it at all – in fact, they both placed the film at the bottom of their “Favorite Pixar Movies” list. I’ve heard of other negative reviews, as well, both oral and written. It’s kind of interesting to hear why some people didn’t find it as appealing as others.
Feel free to read Tim Hodge’s* review on the production, if you’d like. Simply click on the link below and scroll down to the blog entry entitled, “Wall•E vs Panda”.
