Your Top 5 Animated Movies

I LOVE “Love to Singa!”[/i]

good, the song is so moreish! i have it as my ring tone right now…

Speaking of which, I just saw The Iron Giant on TV last night. I really forgot how great a movie it is. I mean, after all, I wouldn’t expect anything less from a movie directed by Brad Bird… :-D)

I love to singa is on my happy feet DVD. Happy Feet is another awesome animated movie. it’s very clever how they made it

  1. The Incredibles
  2. Aladdin (and 3, much credit to Robin Williams)
  3. Wall-E
  4. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Uncut PG-13 version, natch)
  5. Toy Story
  1. The Incredibles
  2. Spirited Away
  3. Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers
  4. Toy Story 2
  5. Toy Story

1)Wall*E
2)Nightmare Before Christmas
3)Monster’s Inc.
4)The Incredibles
5)The Lion King
It could go on forever!

I thought i had already replied on this topic…
“scratches head and remembers”

I’m gonna proceed like that too i mean the non pixar faves only…

Then here i go :

  1. The Lion King ( all three )
  2. One hundred and one dalmations
  3. Tarzan
  4. The Emperor’s new groove
  5. Lady and the Tramp
  1. My Neighbour Totoro
  2. WALL-E (equal number 1)
  3. The Iron Giant
  4. Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind
  5. Grave of the Fireflies

my favorite top 5 animated films are:

1.Finding Nemo
2.Wall-e
3.Ratatouille
4.Mulan
5.The Emperor’s new groove

but the truth is there are a lot of animated films so good but i can’t sacrifice these movies, the best movies ever!!!

This is a tough one. I have so many favorites! Let’s see…

  1. Lion King
  2. Wall E
  3. The Incredibles
  4. The Iron Giant
  5. Finding Nemo

Agh! There’s so many more!

I know what you mean HannahMation :sunglasses:

Hi everyone! I finally wrestled my way past the sign-up code, and here I am! (So lock your doors and hide your kids. )

Anyway, here are my top 5 animated movies.

  1. The Lion King
  2. Persepolis
  3. The Prince of Egypt
  4. Wall-E

And, drumroll please…

  1. Spirited Away!

Haystack: Welcome to Pixar Planet. And I see you like Spirited Away. I know a lot of people who love that movie.

Yeah, welcome to Pixar Planet Haystack, he he… the avatar for your avatar…very clever. :sunglasses:

1 - Wall-E
2 - Lion King
3 - Balto… I seem to be the only one who likes this movie :frowning:
= Monsters Inc.
5 - Tarzan
= The Incredibles

I’d really like a top 10, because Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Toy Story are pretty much tied up there.

it was hard, but finally I found a Top 5

  1. Beauty and the Beast
  2. Cinderella
  3. The Prince of Egypt
  4. Finding Nemo
  5. Spirited Away

1 new Disney, 1 old Disney, 1 Pixar, 1 Miyazaki (or Ghibli, or anime) and The Prince of Egypt (as an outsider, not representing Dreamworks)

But a honest list of the best animation movies ever made should have at least 25 slots…

Runners-up

  1. The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame
  2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, …
  3. Les triplettes de Belleville, Persepolis
  4. Ratatouille, The Incredibles, WALL•E, Monsters, Inc.
  5. Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle, Tokyo Godfathers

All of these, and many others, are great movies, Masterpieces. And a couple of them could be in a Top 25 of the best movies ever.

The upcoming horror animated film, Fear(s) of the Dark looks pretty sleek. I think it might at least go on the second or the third position on my list.

Otherwise:
5 ) Disney’s Mulan
4 ) Detective Conan: The Time Bombed Skyscraper
3 ) Pokémon: The First Movie
2 ) The Incredibles
1 ) The Lion King

I’ve really got to see more Miyazaki (or Studio Ghibli) films… I only ever saw Spirited Away and it was interesting but I don’t feel I really got into it… aside from the animation I can’t really pick anything I was very entertained or moved by. Maybe I’ve got to watch it again now I’m more mature.
