Which version do you think is better? The original or my favourite-the jazzy version in the second one.
:sunglasses:

I think I like the original version the best.

This is so hard to choose since I like them both, but I’d have to go with the jazzy version since it was a great way to finish Toy Story 2, and it’s just a fun rendition. I always find myself singing along to it.

It was hard for me to choose but I chose the jazzy one because I’ve never been that into Randy Newman’s voice…

I went for the original. Whenever I hear it, probably because of Randy Newman’s voice more than anything else, I’m always brought back into my childhood. Toy Story is my favourite Pixar film because of many different elements, and the music- in particular, ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’- is one of them.

As everyone said, this was a hard one, but I’m gonna have to go with the original. There’s something about it that makes it instantly classic. The TS2 version is great fun too, though!

I just made it a 50% 50% poll. I chose Jazzy. I like the original too though.

hmm…even score eh? interesting…

Not so even anymore; i think jazzzzzzzzzzzz roxxxxx! :sunglasses:

I evened it back out. I like both, but I had to go with the original. Brings back memories when I first saw Toy Story.

I like the original version. It is just so classic after TS was a great success.

I wouldn’t want them to do anything else to it.

oh, damn it, now it’s uneven.

Sorry

how can i help that…

I went with original

There are actually four versions of You’ve Got a Friend In Me:

The original Randy Newman version from the start of TS
The Randy Newman and Lyle Lovett duet from the credits of TS
The jazzy version from the end of TS2
The instrumental jazzy version from TS2

I like the duet with Lyle Lovett version the best.

yeah, I know bawpcwpn, I just meant the two jazz versions and two original versions together. but, if someone wants to add the instrumental jazz and the duet original to the poll, then they can. :sunglasses:

I like both, but I think I like the original one best. =3

I don’t like this song, the first time I heard it, ithe song just got stuck on my head, but I would say the jazzy version is better.

The original one is best.

What PixarPixie said. :sunglasses: When I first heard the original one in Toy Story’s opening sequence, that was long after I had heard the jazzy version of it, and I have to say, the original one just gives you that heart-warming feeling that has more meaning to it. It was more than just a mere piece of rocking music which gets you excited like the jazzy version, so, yeah, my vote’s on the original.
