If
you’ve checked out the Upcoming PIXAR site, you may have seen the article stating that Disney’s trying to
recruit Robert Zemekis.
My only response to this article, IF it actually happens is, "Oh the
Irony!"
Discuss: Do you think a PIXAR-quality film can be done without the time/resources/care that
PIXAR puts in??

To quote just about every
person at Pixar - especially Lasseter - “Story is the key.”
So if the story is headed under the
Disney/Pixar vision and has that sort of quality then it’s just a matter of the animation. So unless you find
the MoCap totally offensive then yes it is very possible.
It’s possible, but it’s as Pixar staff have said- they
have fun in their environment, and this shows in their films, so I think that the people creating this other film
would have to be really dedicated and having a good time too.

Bleagh… after The Polar Express, I can’t say that I’m a very big Zemekis
fan…
