Their old Wallace and Gromit short films were great, Chicken Run too.
But the Wallace and Gromit movie and flushed away were both terrible.

I just saw their new short A Matter of Loaf or Deaf. It is probably now my second favorite Aardman short behind A Close Shave. The animation is incredible though.
Sorry for the double post, and also sorry if everyone Already knew this. As you my know Aardman broke up with Dreamworks, and has now made a deal with Sony Pictures Animation. !!!
On the Aardman website they say they have made a Five Film deal contract, and two of those have been announced.

The First is called Pirates which will be in stop motion, and the second Arthur Christmas their second film using computer animation.
Dragging this thread up from the past, but I just saw “Matter of Loaf & Death” last week - I love W&G, and this one did not disappoint, although “Wrong Trousers” is probably still my favorite. I’ve got that “Bake-o-Lite Girl” jingle stuck in my head now, though.
On the general thread topic, I love “Chicken Run.” (“Chickens go in, pies come out.” “What kind of pies?” “Apple.” “My favorite!” “CHICKEN pies, you great lummox!!” Mrs. Tweedy rules. )
I’m not a fan of Aardman or claymation in general, but Flusher Away was OK.
I saw Loaf or Death at the ottawa film fest. The animation was so silky smooth <3
