Heh, as if your username didn’t give it away (I’ve skipped to shippuuden myself ^^)
I’m a fan of all animation. Doesn’t matter the style, studio or nation. Chances are I’ll watch it. Anime probably had as much to do with my wanting to go into animation as Pixar did. Like many people, my “gateway” anime was Sailor Moon. I have every episode, 2 movies, and the entire last season straight out of Japan. Remember kids, Subbed > Dubbed.
Back in my youngers years, I watched what ever toonami served up. I have since then learned better. Shows I’m a fan of:

I follow the American animes, Teen Titans and Avatar, as well. I know a lot of people who love Disney, Pixar, WB and other American studios generally despise anime, but I love it. The stories are entertaining and engaging and I’ve learned a lot of animation/drawing techniques by watching.
Now I’m not tying to start a fight or anything but I am curious: non-anime watchers, what is it that you dislike?
Wow, I like you already, LOL! Sailor Moon was my main anime as well. I used to ALWAYS watch it in the morning. I have the 3rd season on DVD, uncut as well as the Sailor Stars season. I also have the ‘R’ and ‘SuperS’ movies as well. My favorite charactes have always been the 3 Starlights and Sailor Uranus and Neptune^_^ Their just awesome, lol.
And for Naruto, the shippuuden is freaking awesome! x]
It gets me mad though how all the Akatsuki are just…dieing off. I mean…we all knew Deidara was going to die at some point though…eh? -_- But killing himself…UGH! He was so stupid! D= It makes me sad, especially since i RP him alot XD
I’m actually more of a Gaara fan, but some of the other changes to character designs have got me liking those that I did not care for before. For the sake of the thread I won’t delve further into my nerdly anime dealings. PM me, I’m sure there is much to discuss.
And Pokemon was the bomb! Well, that was until the more recent one came out. Ash’s voice
started to become a little too annoying. I love the classic first season of pokemon better.

Oh, don’t get me STARTED on Teen Titans! The best combination of anime and Western animation ever!
That’s about it as far as anime and myself go, though. I did watch Pokemon when it was all the rage, but apart from that, I haven’t really watched much anime. I do love Hayao Miyazaki’s films, though! Studio Ghibli is awesome.
I used to love Sailor Moon (American dubbed version) when I was young. I have watched the first 2 seasons of the Japanese dubbed version, as well as the live-action (PGSM) which is just fantastic. I used to like Pokemon for a while when it first came out.
If I had enough time, I would watch the Love Hina series. It looks good…
I used to watch tons of anime, and still try to, but lately I’ve just been reading the manga versions because they’re often cheaper. I loved Sailor Moon and DBZ, too back in the day and I’m currently also a Bleach and Naruto fan, although I’m waaaaay behind in Naruto. I’ve seen quite a bit of series up until a few years ago but it’s probably too long to list here. As for “American” anime, I think I’ve seen most of Teen Titans, and Avatar. And a little of Kappa Mikey when I get the chance.
To all of the Sailor Moon fans- IGNORE the english dubbed version XDD

The original stuff is MUCH better. I just don’t like how they messed up so much. Also, the Teen Titans are awesome! x] Starfire, Blackfire, Beastboy n Raven are my favs.
And for Naruto, catxhu up to the Shippuuden! O_O It’s teh bomb. Even though the Akatsuki slowly die off…-_-;;
Tell me about it. But it’s a mixed blessing because it was the English sub that got me into SM in the first place, then I moved to subbed. Now I never watch anything dubbed unless it’s directly translated - but even then sometimes the voices don’t sound right, and they change things, so…
I know exactly what you mean. I honestly think they could do a better job on the voices anyways. but you always have manga for the better and more true stuff, lol.
I know the anime 'Azumanga Daioh" did pretty good on dubbing though. it all sounded really good to me. If you…have ever even heard of the show XD;
