I have not seen any anime in weeks, and I am trying to look for a good one now.
Depending on what you’re looking for I have several suggestions. If you’re looking for some amazing gun battles and intriguing storyline you could go with Black Lagoon. A mature anime, but a good one.
Any of the ones we were talking about in the last 3 or 4 posts are excellent too. Like I said, PM me with your prefs and I’ll give you a list.
I don’t know. I just don’t find anything intresting. I think I just go for live-action japanese shows now instead of japanese anime.
Well if your willing to look, you can search around YouTube. Try searching some of the titles already mentioned, or go with what Haunt said.
I think the last good anime I was so into was Digimon Savers. But I’ll go searching for it.

Otafest. It’s a local con put on at the University of Calgary. It’s out 10 year anniversary, so we have three days instead of just two. There is going to be a bunch of new stuff this year. I’m so excited. =D

Mine is Acen in Chicago. I live in Detroit, so it’s about 6 hour drive. I’ve got my best buddy with me and it’s going to be quite an adventure. Plus, Halcali will be singing. I’m so flippin’ excited to see them in concert.

We’ve had Vic Mignogna visit a few times. I don’t think he’s coming this year, though [although I’m not complaining. XD I’m not really a fan.]. He did come last year to our Comic Book Expo.
Are you cosplaying?
Sure am. I couldn’t think of an actual character to do, so me and a friend improvised. We’re going to be Akatsuki school girls. We have ridiculously short skirts with cloud patches on them. I made ninja shoes, and a cute bandana. If I manage to get some good pic and I don’t look entirely scandalous, I’ll be sure to share some acen moments here.

I have yet to cosplay as my favorite anime characters. I remember being Ash but that was about 8 yrs ago. I need to find someone I can cosplay soon.
I have watched 10 episodes of “Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi.” I love it. It makes me laugh all the time! 
Our anime con went amazingly. =D We had 87 + pictures taken of us. We also received about 70 hugs/tackles/glomps haha.

The next Miyazaki movie will be out in a few weeks in Japan: Gake no Ue no Ponyo (Ponyo on a Cliff) about a little fish, and will have a heavy watercolor look

Good to see other people that like different types of animation!
Due to my strong love for all things Japan, I’ve been kind of forcing myself to watch anime series lately. My first was “Itazura na Kiss,” since I’ve seen the Taiwanese drama adaptation. Nothing spectacular, but a cute, romantic guilty pleasure. I also watched “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” and, while impressed by the animation and characters, didn’t care at all for the storyline (the students-start-a-club-and-form-an-unlikely-friendship was FAR more interesting to me, personally). Oh, and I tried “FLCL” and couldn’t stand it. If anyone has recommendations for anime that have little to no action/sci-fi/wacky/random/fantasy elements (they can be shoujo, but I’m willing to expand my horizons past that genre), I’d be pleased to hear them! I’m looking for something comparable in depth and quality to the Ghibli films. Is that asking too much?
