Anyone ever done this?

I did say everything. My guess it would take an entire 24

hours.

It depends on how long you stare at the photographs included as DVD bonus

features

I’ve considered having a Pixar marathon, but never very

seriously, simply for, as has been the most common point of concern, the amount of time it would take. However,

I did watch one Pixar movie a day, in order, in the six days leading up to the

theatrical release of Cars. I believe it worked out so that Toy Story ended up being the very day after school

let out for the summer, too, so that was nice.

Wow. Over 11 hours of Pixar feature films. If Pixar makes an average of a half billion in box

office per picture, then just imagine how much one minute of solid animation made them!

Not only does

Pixar make excellent films, they know how to make a large profit. And I don’t mind paying.

Oh, to answer

the question, I wouldn’t mind sitting those 11 and a half hours to watch every single Pixar feature.

I’m doing this right now.
But not in one

day. I’m doing it in one week.

I watched A Bug’s Life 3 days ago (hilarious, heartwarming and

epic…), so next one is: TOY STORY 2!!

Wow! over 11 hours! That’s longer than the Beatles

Anthology (which is about 10 hours)! Maybe one day over break i’ll have the time to sit there and watch em

One week? That is easy to accomplish. But have fun doing it.

I’m sorry. I wrote ‘one week’ but I’m not able to do it, because I just didn’t had the time, mainly because

of my book presentation.

But I’ll do TS2, Monsters, Nemo and TI after Christmas in a shorter time.

including commentary ? which means you would have to watch the movie twice

!

Sometimes three. TI has three kinds of commentary.

Nooo. The Incredibles has 2

commentaries:

 • Brad Bird and John Walker
 • Tony Fucile, Steven Clay Hunter, Alan Barillaro, and other

animators

:stuck_out_tongue:

~~=oP

Oh

yeah. I meant you would have to watch it three times. One without commentary, then one with Bird and Walker, then

finally, the animators.

Ohhh. Okay.

My favorite Brad quote from the commentary: "…next time

I hear ‘Ohhh…What’s it like working in the animation genre?’, I’m gonna

punch that person!" ;-p

~~=oP

Heheh – I’ve only listened to The Incredibles

Bird/Walker commentary once. I love how they kept saying that the film has both "explosions

and hugs".

I don’t think I’ve even listened to the animators’

commentary. hits self

Hey, here’s an idea: How long would it take to watch all the Pixar

films back-to-back, including all the commentaries, bonus features, menus,

and languages?

So then you would have to watch all the films

in French and Spanish, too. I’ve watched Finding Nemo entirely in French

before…and it’s hilarious. 8D

Lol, that would take forever! Much too long for a single

session.

I love that language reel they have on the bonus disk of MI, where they keep switching the

languages every twenty seconds.

lizardgirl - It would probably take at least two days.

Oh yes, I almost forgot about that Monsters Inc. language reel. Heheh

– I was laughing my head off when Mike starting singing in French. At least, I think it was in French…

Heh.

Adding all the extras to that would definitely take me more than a day (if i broke for

sleeping or eating or showering or something).

As much as I love the Pixar

films, I don’t think my body can handle that…

If I were to have an 11+ hour Pixar movie marathon, then

that’s probably okay (After all, I am planning to have a 14 hour Star Wars marathon

 ). But two days or more? That sounds reeeaaaallllyyy long.

I have

done that with the incredibles only. You put everything together, and it would take (takes out a calculator). . .

a really long time. But I have done it before. All in one sitting.

CountSolo - Exactly – which is why it would take (probably) approxiamately two

days or more to watch everything. Of course, someone would have to be a real fan to do all of that – heheh.

I typically watch every single bonus feature (excluding the language tracks) on a Pixar film when I first

acquire it on dvd, and that normally takes about half an hour to two hours, depending on the film.

The Star Swordsman - Gee whiz. I think I did that two, only it might have

taken me two days to watch all of the special features (I took breaks in-between). Sounds like you had fun doing

it, too.
