Anyone ever done this?

I did Mitch. It was fun. Heck, I didn’t know any Spanish

or French, but watching the movie over a million times certainly helps.

The Star Swordsman - Heheh – cool. I’m glad you had a great

time.

And yep, it helps all right. My sister and I have memorized at least two parts of

Finding Nemo in French, due to the fact that we watched it so many times.

The thing is, I have yet to memorize all of the dialouge in french and in

spanish.

The Star Swordsman - The trick is to repeatedly watch the

movie of your choice (in this case, The Incredibles) in a particular language every

time you view that film. After a while, you will be able to memorize a few parts of the production. It’s quite

fun to do – my sister and I used to do it all the time.

The thing is, I have only got the

english dialouge. The reason is I live in America. It is a rareity for me to watch the frence/spanish

version.

I

thought that the French and Spanish versions were already included in the American version of The

Incredibles? Hmm – perhaps not. I know they have them in Finding

Nemo. Maybe that is the only one?

Oh it is included. I rarely watch

it.

The Star

Swordsman - Ahh…I see. You should watch it in French (again?) sometime. It’s funny.

I did, just a little bit of it. I

wanted to see if the voices sounded very similar.

The Star Swordsman - I see. Do the voices sound “right on”? I haven’t

watched the French version of The Incredibles yet. Well, actually, I think I have,

but it’s been so long that I have forgotten. :stuck_out_tongue:

The voices of Violet sound much younger in the French and Spanish version. Dash sounds older in the Frenh

version, and Hlen sounds old in both versions.

The Star Swordsman - Really? Hmm. I’m going to have to watch those versions

again…

I love all of the voices

though. Some were better than others. but watching all three versions, (not includeing bathroom, drink, and food

breaks) would take a little under five hours though.

Lol, I love watching

the different languages of the films, just to hear the characters’ voices. French Dash scares me a little bit,

though… :open_mouth:

On topic: I have had two and a half Pixar marathons. I say two and a half because I

had two before Cars came out: so, Toy Story through The Incredibles, and yes, all in a single day. I tried to

have another one with Cars, but I wasn’t feeling well so I had to stop after The Incredibles and go to bed. But

I watched Cars the next day.

You mean a little under 6

hours. The Incredibles is approximately 115 minutes long.

115 x 3 = 345

(5.75 hours) :stuck_out_tongue:

~~=oP

Well, forgive me of my math.

:stuck_out_tongue: A little under 6 hours then. Long, but I think it is well worth it.

So

close to half of a day, if Mitch’s calculations are correct for only watching

feature films excluding bonus features, etc.

Well, about two weeks ago we watched 5 movies in one night at my friend’s house… but

none of them were Pixar movies so yeah. The most I’ve ever done is 2 (or maybe even 3) in one

evening.

Well, if I everwatched them

all at once, it’d have to be with my friends so I can have some good laughs. That sounds like an interesting

idea…hmmmm… :bulb:

No but I have pulled

all nighters watching all the Star Wars and entire seasons of TV shows that I have on DVD.
