Seriously, aside from Bob being "Mr.
Incredible", I don’t think anyone calls the family “the Incredibles” in the movie at all. Please
tell me I’m wrong.

I could tell you that
you were wrong, but then I’d be a liar. The closest the family ever came to being called "The
Incredibles" would be Mirage calling Helen “Mrs. Incredi–”.
Hey, you are right. I also wondered that. But maybe they could be mentioned as a
whole family in a possible sequel.
hey, yeah! I never really paid attention to that until you
mentioned it…
Hahaha! I had a good chuckle there.
Excellent observation, AJ! They were
never referred to as “the Incredibles” at any point during the movie by
anyone. Delf gave the only example of how they barely almost kinda sorta were. ![]()
If there will be a
sequel, you can count on the civilians calling them “the Incredibles”, as TSS said.
Thank
goodness Pixar decided not to go with their original title for the film: “Tights”. ![]()

Lol, that’s a really good point!
I guess they didn’t really start out as ‘The Incredibles’,
technically, but they did finish as a true family of superheroes.
The original film title was ‘Tights’?
That would’ve been interesting…
Tihgts? I thought that Tights was just a code name for it instead of an original title.

We rob from the rich, and give to the poor,
that’s right!

It only makes
sense that they weren’t called “The Incredibles.” I mean, everyone was kinda shocked to see a famiy
of supers! Especially, Syndome (and how I love how they say in the commentary when he captures the four of them
with his Zero-Point Energy Beam that he feels like a kid who just completed his card collection, or something
like that). "What is this - matching outfits? Oh, no - Elastigirl?
You married Elastigirl? . . . and got bizay! It’s a
whole family of supers! Oh, this just too good!!"
Yeah, TI was all
about bringing back the Supers, and probably the first Family of Supers!
You know what, I’m starting to
itch for a sequel too, now. Just a bit more than usual . . . but yeah . . . .
So if Bob is Mr. Incredible, and Helen is Elastigirl, then
what does that make Violet and Dash?
Here is what I think.
Violet: Invisigirl
Dash:
Speedster
I thought Dash had already named himself “The Dash”??
But like in Dash’s fanfic. If he was named the Dash,
wouldn’t he be a little too obvious?
Dash
could use the name Lucius gave him, Speedo, but then he sounds like a pair of swim trunks. ^^
Speedster
is good, TSS. I also like the Blur.
I know. I just call it the original title.

But he still ends up with The Dash in the end. It’s not about what’s too
obvious - it’s about what fits. =)
So true. I mean, Super Hero names are so hard to come up
with these days. I bet some of his friends would start to get suspicous once they see similarities. And also, did
anyone remember Bomb Voyage’s name before it was Bomb Voyage? That was a rather. . .unique name. Like I said, it
is hard to come up with good Super Hero names.
Bomb Voyage was originally Bomb Perignon, but Pixar
wasn’t able to obtain the rights to use the name. Bomb Voyage is way cooler
though.

Oh really?
I thought that it was something intresting. I forgot, I’m sorry.
LOL What do you have to be sorry for?

~~=oP
I recalled in the commentary Brad and
John stating Bomb Voyage’s original name, and then laughter. Sorry for being absent minded.
Haha. No need to be sorry. We all have moments like
that.
