physcological horror…you mean like thoughts??
Yeah, using provoking fears to trigger a sense of horror.
ahhh…like eating alive creatures…ugh!
Both horror movies, like Scream, I don’t like because it makes me feel claustrophobic, and the gore movies I don’t like because I have a weak stomach.
No, like a serial murderer hunting down a group of teenagers… Not ever horror movie is full of disgusting scenes like everyone pictured - this misconception is the appalling one.
ah…i see.
I am afraid of anything that I can’t explain. That’s why I am scared by The Blair Witch Project.
i’m also scared of being wrong…
As weird as it sounds, there is absolutely no reason to be scared of that. I live in California. We have earthquakes here. It’s not a big deal. In fact, they’re downright annoying. But “The Big One” is coming. Everyone knows it. No one is scared though. There’s no reason to be. It’ll happen when it happens, and there’s nothing we can do about it. To dwell on it is to live your entire life in fear, because as of right now, the best warning anyone could get is a little over a minute. We’re all prepared for when it does happen, but until it does, why worry?
My greatest fears are dogs and heights. Don’t ask me why. I don’t even know it myself.
heights yes…dogs o_O really?? i guess big doggies could be scary…like dobermen pinchers and rottweilers…uh.
WON: A year ago, my grandfather was afraid of dogs. Now, he loves little puppies. He is still afraid of big ones. In fact, he carries a stick everytime he goes out for a morning walk.
An old friend of mine-a friends grandma got attacked by two big dogs…she fell on cement and hurt her head but she still arrived at school to teach us.
My little bro’s biggest fear was rats, so was my 11th grade English teacher. She told me she would die than see Ratatouille.
really…i wonder why. Why do people have fear’s…
it’s psychology. People have bad experiences with something, so through classical conditioning, when they see something they had a bad experience with, that can result in fear. Also, I guess watching something traumatic can lead to fears in the future.
yah…i always have had that feeling that if no horror films or scary films were invented we would have less fears…shame on Hollywood.
Oh no, that is not entirely true. Instead of watching a horror movie, people can generate fears in their head with really tramatic experiences.
Yeah, don’t go dissing the horror films, dude; the filmmakers simply take what people has already fear into pure entertainment. <_<"
I’m afraid of spiders, but mostly little fast-moving ones.
I have a tarantula in my bedroom (she’s my sister’s) and she doesn’t scare me one bit, because she’s so mellow and lax and slow-moving. ![]()
I’ve found recently that I’m jumpy (not scared) when alarms go off. The emergency alert testing went off on the TV late at night, and sent a chill up my spine. I hate it. ![]()
There’s another thing I used to be scared of but won’t discuss for fear of argument on the topic. ![]()
