He probably didn’t even watch the movie. He thinks Hamm is the villian of the movie. He does what quite a few other people do, he takes something popular that a whole lot of people like and rants about how lame it is. He does the same for the reverse, he takes smaller movies that the GP doesn’t care too much for and gives them stellar ratings. He is probably only doing it to get attention and to be “Edgy and different” instead of actually trying to critique movies and give honest opinions. If you look at his reviews on RT, it’s like that on just about every movie he’s posted on. Very often his “Fresh” or “Rotten” ratings are the opposite of the site’s rating for each movie.
He wrote a specific review outside of RT just about TS3, where he goes on for pages about how commercialized it is and how Pixar only made the movie to sell toys and advertise products. It’s funny, I’m a target movie-goer and I didn’t notice anything. He only does this kind of stuff to get a reaction, which is exactly what happens, and judging by how he goes on and on about Hamm being the main villian character of the movie, he probably didn’t even see it to begin with. If he’s gonna do stuff like that he might as well get fired and not have to waste his time and ours.
You couldn’t have said it better. Anyone with half a brain will know that Hamm isn’t one of the bad guys. Maybe this moron couldn’t be bothered watching the whole thing. Maybe he just read half of the Wikipedia description, watched the trailer and then wrote his so-called “review” of the film. Seriously, what a freak. I’d probably pay £20 just to see someone beat the crap out of him.
And the third one to give Toy Story 3 a rotten rating is Jeremy Heilman, calling it “a refinement of Toy Story 2, a movie which was an unnecessary sequel to begin with.”. I’ll just leave it at that.
I bet he wrote that “review” just to bash Pixar even more. How sad can he get?
You know what? You’re right. Why should we care about him? It seems quite obvious that he’s an attention seeker since he bashes almost every great movie that comes out. I think he wants people to hate him, but I don’t see why anyone would want to be the most hated movie critic in America. Troll or not, he’s a disgrace to movie critics everywhere. But yeah, maybe we’re best off ignoring him.
