Armond White - worst critic EVER!

Haha, that’s a good one!

Sorry to bump this old thread, but it seems Armond White fails yet again. Now he’s written a bad review of Tangled:

And in case you’d all like to see, I wrote a rant about Armond White on my Gamespot profile. Enjoy:

Wow, Good job Armond, you fail again. Sure kids these days are into Hannah Motana, but theres some who still read. You think they would know a few, I knew what Rapanzel was when I was little.

Wow. What a tool. :unamused:

I think Armond’s biggest flaw as a critic is that he doesn’t understand varied approaches to things. Not everything has to be a commentary on consumerism or modern society as he seems to detriment every film for not being. I’d like to see Armond direct a movie…

I wouldn’t. :stuck_out_tongue: I like to see happy movies, with all the MacFarlane negative stuff we get all the time.

EDIT: P.S. C#@p is not a cuss word. A 3 year old wouldn’t be offended by that!! The people at my church talk like that. This place is getting so Communist…

Wait, how is it communist? Censoring the word C**p on a site that might have younger people doesn’t make the forums a place where we share common ownership and ending the idea of private property. Which is what communism means, communism doens’t mean censorship

Back to Armond: What a Snoozefest! A generation that no longer reads? I don’t need to go into this any deeper, his idiocy isn’t worth my time.

Crap has always been, in my eyes the universally acceptable replacement for the S word. I don’t know of any kids who aren’t allowed to say it. Unless its in the context of talking back to parents or something disrespectful, but the word itself offends no one I know… and Ive known a lot of over protective parents and teachers. and Ive heard it used at church on my end as well.

If a kid comes on here and sees crap censored he’d laugh his butt off. Whoops, should I censor that b word too?

Oh dear, now it’s starting here. As I said before, I have no problem with the word, I say it on a daily basis. But I’m just warning other members, because believe it or not, I was busted by using that word on the forums here, by a moderator. I’m just giving the heads up. I have no issue with the word, and this is all being blown way out of perportion.

Lol, I think we all should stop arguing and just agree. Crap isn’t a bad word. It’s even used on some kid’s stuff like Shrek. Now, let’s just agree that it isn’t a bad word and shall only be used when neccessary.

Me too.

At this point, if it’s not a clearly offensive word, just censor it as you see fit. Kyle brings up a good point, but in case you have different standards, just do as you wish.

I feel as if we’re getting a little off topic, so let’s go back to discussing Armond White’s rare mental condition.

Pixar > An idiot > Toilet paper > The C**p on the toilet paper > the flu virus > the Black Plague >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> M. Night Shyamalan > Armond White

This thread is awesome!

On AW’s Tangled review:

Did he just call us stooges?

My day is made. This thread is indeed awsome.

Oh wow you people are still going on about this? Look we all know this guy is mad trolling. But here’s what I want to ask you people, Why the hell do you care about what he says? Just dismiss him as you would any troll.

Because he’s hilarious. And I don’t think he’s a troll. I think that Armond thinks he’s a serious critic.

No, he’s a troll. Being a jerk with no taste doesn’t make you serious.

And actually, Communist countries like Red China have crazy mad censorship laws. So it is in fact a semi-Communist idea.

I agree, he has no taste. But I think that he thinks he’s serious. When of course, we know he’s not!

Yeah, but that’s not what the philosophy of Communism means.

Ah, okay. Fair enough. Let’s just say we all dislike him and move on.

If some one thinks their serious than they are. its not really up for interpretation. even if the opinions themselves are a joke, if he means what he says then he’s serious.
