I have a WACOM tablet I purchased last school break (around mid-year) that has been languishing in misuse and dust… time to break it out! 
Hope to create my first fan-made Pixar art before the holidays end! And of course, I’ll join your event once inspiration strikes.

Haunt is probably very busy with schoolwork and the like, though. I believe this week is finals week for some people, right? If she has extra time to spare afterwards, though, then I’d also love to see this thread kick into gear again!

But in the meantime, I think she could at least throw out an idea of some sort (of I could think of one 
) , just to get a head start for those who can get started now you know?

Pixfan: I totally second this idea!! In one of the last Art Jams, I posted something of mine, but at the time I wasn’t really a member. 
I would love to do something new to contribute to this thread, seeing as how I’m getting a little better in my cartooning and such… maybe I’ll be able to kick it up a notch with the humor…
And yes, it would be nice if Haunt could just throw out an idea. Maybe we could contribute ideas ourselves and have her pick…? I dunno. Just an idea, anyways.

Ahh, you guys beat me to it! Was going to try to sneak up on the new season of Jamz. But I’m pleased as punch you guys have remembered them.
I’ve got my summer starter, don’t you worry. I’m waiting til UP is released. That day will start our first official Jam of the summer.
In the meantime if you guys want to post sketches from older Jamz topics feel free too.
Or, we can do a short run until the release. The topic: Beach fun! Sketch some of our animated buddies hanging out in the surf or digging around in the sand!
Don’t forget now, May 29th is the start of the next Art Jam.

Ah! Cool. Thanks for the heads-up, Haunt! I actually do have an older, unfinished doodle that I meant to paste up, but never completed, so perhaps I’ll upload that. In addition, I look forward to the next “Jamz” competition!

Oooh, I’ve never been apart of an Art Jam here before, but I’ll be sure to join! Especially since I’ll be out of college around that time. Should be fun! Can’t wait!
Here’s a quick sketch I did of Russell playing at the beach! This was the first time I drew directly into the computer with my Wacom tablet without first having a sketch imported. Definitely doing to keep playing around with quick computer sketches.
A reference photo was used for Russell by the way. Had to keep his Wilderness Explorer hat on him!

That’s pretty good for a first-time using a Wacom! I need to scan my sketch in and ‘ink’ and ‘paint’ it in digitally. Could do with a more interesting background and more ‘props’ or characters, but a fabulous Russell pic, Hannahmation!
I’d love to take part in this if I weren’t so inundated with assignments now…
