Avatar: the Last Airbender

yep, i hope tell tell about it in a flashback or something.

I used to think A:TLA was so lame, but after I watched one episode, I fell in love with it.
An really good show, ALthough I only started to like it after it was completed. Though I will admit, there were quite a few episodes that were really boring._.

The Legend of Korra seems pretty cool
The lead girl looks so kickbutt X3

I think Legend Of Korra looks lame :-\

:open_mouth: :shake: <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/youwhaaa.gif” alt=“o_0;;” title="You

Whaaa…" /> o_0 :~o :imp:  WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT???

Why do you think that Jack?

I mean sounds lame. I haven’t watched the trailer. Here is why I don’t like the idea.

  1. Why? Do we really need it? I started watching the show a few months back and I have 6 episodes left in the series, though it’s obvious Aang defeats the Fire Lord and peace is restored with the 4 nations. So why create a series with a new threat? It’s like all of The Gaang’s adventures were for nothing.
  2. All of the original characters are dead. I think it would of been epic if Aang was the teacher, but nope, Nick killed him off. I know its seventy years later, but Aang would of been 94 right? Avatar Roku seemed like he was really old but full of energy. Aang most likely could of taught this ‘Korra’. Besides, we saw Aang pretend to be an old man in Season 1 and it was hilarious! It would be cool to see how he really acts as an old man. But nope. Nick killed him off.

Why do we need it?
Because it’s awesome.
That’s why we watch TV and movies. Because we certainly don’t need them, yet we do, because they’re awesome.

Well I finished the series and I watched the Legend Of Korra trailer. I still think Legend Of Korra looks lame. And the city its in looks like New York! I thought this took place in the 1400’s! And the thought of Aang, Sakka, Katara, Toph, and Zuko being dead depresses me. But I LOVED the series. My new favorite show. Loved it

1- There will never be peace, their will always be someone who want’s power and will kill to get that power. Even if it was 10000 years later, there will still be evil.

  1. I suppose, but I think they to have just remember him, noy know him. If it was Aang, Korra would listen easily, with the new guy, she may not care as much, Aang will be in this, just not a main character.

There is a rumor Aang will return as a spirit as a 13 year old, basically looking and sounding the same as he did in the show. That would be cool. I might still check it out when it comes out.

YOU BETTER!! o___o

The first two episodes were released today:

So far it seems better than the original in almost every way. I can’t wait to see more.

Is the series airing. I don’t watch Nick anymore so I didn’t know. Better start recording episodes.

I kind of like the Legend of Korra, but I kind of don’t…everything’s different, which is kind of a good thing, but it doesn’t have the same “feel”–and that feel is what made the original series so enjoyable.

I don’t exactly like Korra, either. She’s a cocky, big jerk…I know she’s supposed to be opposite of Aang, but in the second episode she didn’t learn her lesson like she should’ve.

I want to see her (with all her water, fire and earthbending) to be beaten in a fight by Tenzin.

I just started the first episode of the original Avatar series yesterday, enjoying it a lot so far

I saw the first ep! It was gratifying to see everything we loved come back…but altered, especially that our 12-year old hero boy is now a 16 year old girl. With hair. But a great start to the series, with lots of references for our viewing fan pleasure, and such precious gems of lines (I personally love Tenzin’s ‘Don’t bring my mother into this!!’) haha.
I’m excited for more. Korra rules.

Has anyone been watching Korra regularly? I think it’s one of the best things on TV right now. Every episode is so intense.

I haven’t seen Legend of Korra yet, but my best friend Eric despises it and hopes it gets cancelled.

I’ve been watching it…oh WOW! It’s actually pretty good. Some of the characters I hate, though…it definitely keeps you watching!

What? Its fantastic. The storyline is incredibly mature for a Nick cartoon, the characters are complex and almost every episode leaves me with my jaw on the floor. Care to elaborate on what he hates about it?
