Back to School

With school starting up again, please share us your thoughts. How was your first day? What is your schedule? Like or your teachers/classes? Any activities? Anything you want.

We’ve got a frenchman as a form tutor, but the teachers we’ve got arent too bad.

I start my college classes in about a week. Monday seems to be my most busiest day, but I am totally off on saturdays and sundays.

I digitize my timetables, this is my monday week B timetable

DT

History

German

RS

Games x 2

I have formatting on the proper timetable.

Here is my schedule.

Monday: Psychology, lunch, Improv, dinner, theatre
Tuesday: History, lunch, dinner, theatre
Wednesday: Psycology, lunch, dinner, theatre
Thursday: History, lunch, dinner, theatre
Friday: Lunch, Dinner, theatre.

THEATRE!! I guess you’re taking acting?

You can say that. I am trying to emphasize both acting and singing. My major is Theatre.

I love friday’s timetable!

Lunch then dinner!

I have nothing going on on friday. If I choose not to take the theatre class, then I have 3 free days.

long weekend!

Well, not what you call a long weekend. I gotta balance homework, rehearsals, Pixar Planet, and also, I gotta find work time.

Yeah, same here, TSS. I start in about a week and a half.

What grade are you entering Remy14?

Let’s see here… Grade 11 next! Starts in about 9 days.

My classes are: AP Art, Math, Chemistry, French, and Biology. Not too bad, but I already know AP Art will be a lot of work!

It’ll suck getting up early again every morning, but I’ll be glad to see my friends on a regular basis.

I have to get up @ 6:40am every morning when I’m at school.

Sophmore Here (High School);

4 hour class for 4 subject on Monday
math on tuesday
homework like crazy till the next monday.

We get 3 homeworks a day but most are short.

Let’s not think about school. Please.

I work in a shoe shop, and over the next two weeks, back to school is always hell. Fifteen people waiting at a time, rushing around trying to serve everyone…The only benefit is the hefty pay packet at the end of it.

But when I do go back to school, in the first week of September, I’ll be entering Year 13. It’s meant to be my last year before uni, but I’ll probably take a gap year and then apply.

Apparently, my timetable will be the same, but I think I’m going to do a bit of subject swapping. In Year 12, I took Psychology, Maths, Latin and Physics, but Physics is just too difficult to continue with, so I’ll probably drop that and take up either English Lit or Biology (or both).

So, I don’t really know what my timetable looks like yet. Either way, I have a feeling that I’m going to be having quite a few less free periods this year.

But I’ll compensate for that by taking just one subject in my third year of Sixth Form and having most of the week off, instead of doing full five day weeks.

Oh gosh, I’m the uh, “fresh meat” at school.
I think that statement is a little big though as I was not pelted with oranges on the first day!
I’m trying to squeeze my way into animation, but generally it was a pretty awesome first day, even if it does include a little homework. My only peeve: School starts at 7:30…far too early for me :stuck_out_tongue:

Tropical Storm Fay came along and cancelled the first two days of school, funny huh? My first day of 10th grade is tomorrow.
