Thanks once again, guys!
Horkel’s story is that he’s the prince of the island, so he’s to be a king… however, he’s narrow-minded and selfish. One day however, he stumbles across an orphaned baby Avien that is a different subspecies than himself (it used to be a centaurish creature… but got changed, 'cuz apparently, I hate centaurs.). He must return the kid to his tribe which lives on the other side of the isle, and will soon discover that selfishness is not the key to success.
It’s a few years after Ori’s story. I don’t know how many years yet, but quite a while. Let’s say he was a little kid when Ori had her adventure (he’s around 18 now)
Anyway, here’s some moar arts;
Yoshi!
Captain Fluffclaw, a pirate skunk from a novel I am writing. Original character, gasp!
And her loyal black cockatoo called Lorregaai (whose name is a portmanteau of Lorre, a Dutch nickname people usually give parrots, and Papegaai, the Dutch word for parrot)
Wooo, the cover of my famed and much-hyper Donkey Kong Country fan comic! You can read the first page
here. Warning - it may get graphic later on.
Speedpaint but-not-quite of Kaptain Skurvy, a minor antagonist in the Donkey Kong Country TV series. He’s a pirate, that’s why. I did draw the game’s rendition of DK Isle and Crocodile Isle, however, simply because I like them much better that way.
And this is just random. Krusha and Klump, however, will still remain some of my favourite characters.
Here is Oriisu, in some kind of liney style! I quite like how this came out, personally.
This probably needs some explanation… DKC, again, and those bad guys, again. That itty bitty baby is Krusha, d’aww. So, I seem to think that Krusha was orphaned at K. Rool’s doorstep to which Klump took the little blue Kremling in. K. Rool finds it odd at first, but eventually he realizes the youngster could be useful at a later age. And yeah, it’s cute. Even though it’s fanon theories.
The trio of bad guys celebrate carnival. Yes, Krusha’s costume is a reference to a certain movie about macaws (even though it’s
Squawks he’s cosplaying as, to keep it related to the DKC games), and yes, that is indeed K. Rool in a dress.
…whoa, I’m on a roll!
