Badger's other art

Oh word, these are both so amazing! Seeing your art just makes me happy whenever I come by here. The color values on both are brilliant, and that dynamic scope of the first picture is so grand! If you don’t mind, I’ll probably feature both on The Rare Blog (I’m the person running that account  )

Thank you kindly! …! YOU run the Rare Blog? Like, ohmygosh. I was so incredibly flattered when I came across it and discovered some of my art pieces featured there 8’D I promptly got a tumblr myself after that hehe

I should probably post more original works here though. There’s just so few DK fans here. xD

Aww! Well, I’m glad to hear that! I always make sure to link back to the artist’s original page, and I’ve actually introduced a few people to your art.

Yeah, it’s a shame there aren’t more DK fans on here…but just post whatever you like! Even on the few instances it’s something I’m unfamiliar with, I still enjoy it because your art is great.

It still leaves me with a big smile on my face every time I see my drawings pop up on the Rare Blog.

Anyway, here’s an original character! Gasp!

He’s a pirate hyena and partner of Captain Fluffclaw!

Why, thank you! I don’t know exactly what you mean with that, but you can also follow me on DeviantART: ribbedebie.deviantart.com/

here’s another original character or something

He’s a Komodo dragon and his name is Rudy. I quite like Komodo dragons, they’re so cool! Even though they drool a lot… He’s from the story of Yuki the albino hyena who go to find the thylacine.

I recently revamped his design. And why? He looked too much like Klump from Donkey Kong Country…

ANYWAY I drew some more stuff

Here’s captain Fluffclaw and her crew

Diddy Kong and Krusha parodying How To Train Your Dragon again

and here’s Ori again

I love comments so much. Please comment, people! It takes, like, an hour to draw something and a minute to comment…

yeah warms my heart to know you guys like my art enough to not comment /sobsob

this was done entirely in Paint. D’aww, I love Klump and Skurvy. :3

well isn’t this interesting, it’s Fluttershy

have a platypus

Not really art but I’ll leave it with this and call it a day, hm?

Ahhh, I didn’t even see that this thread had ever updated! :frowning: The boards lied to me! (Also, cool to know we have the same Banjo action figure–lol) I really enjoy the different textures and coloring styles you’re exploring on lots of these, helps keep things diverse and interesting. Also, can you please give me your skill for drawing animals? 8D The way you draw fur, in particular, always amazes me!

Oh dear! Such liars, these boards are! But thanks! I’m flattered. WELL I would really share my skills with you if I could xD But you know, practice makes perfect! :stuck_out_tongue:

The pony invasion
BEGINS
NOW

I lost an art contest with this. Only because I was too good apparently (not to brag) because the average drawing that did win were kids’ doodles. Tch’!

I, of course, love the macaw picture! Nice job.

Wow, you’re relentless with the artwork, aren’t ya? Is that Blu the macaw, or a generi-bird? I love your Pony/HTTYD-Donkey Kong crossovers! And Fluttershy is best pony! Draw moar P0NY555…!!!

Thanks, guys! Well, the macaw is just a generic macaw, but my style of drawing parrots has been sort of influenced by Rio.

oh hey I like skunks

Oh, you guys know Banjo-Kazooie? And you guys know that part in How To Train Your Dragon when Hiccup gets knocked unconscious when he and Toothless are fleeing from the Red Death’s, well, death, and Toothless dives after him, into the flames?
…that was kind of my inspiration for this Banjo-Kazooie pic.

Really phenomenal artworks, the B-K one is so amazingly dramatic (in a good sort of way). You have such a knack for animals! Keep it up!

Whoa! These are amazing, Badger! I love the textures of the sky in the Banjo-Kazooie one. I’m curious here though, what programs do you use for this stuff?

Thanks!

Snipe, I use Photoshop and a Wacom art tablet for nearly all my drawings. :stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s a little holiday image I doodled of Captain Fluffclaw and Lorregaai. That’s a vine with paint on it, as if it were Christmas lights. :stuck_out_tongue:

Your work is just as phenomenal as ever, Badger! I love that texture behind them sooo much; I actually thought the characters were just posted to a corkboard at first. They’re very expressive and I love the poses.
