well, I’ve supported Obama and his economic, educational, and national security from the beginning, but I don’t think Biden was the best VP choice. I’ll give him a 4 because he wasn’t the most appealing choice, but I’ve seen him in interviews and he seems like he really knows his stuff and knows what he’s talking about.
Obama made an excellent choice in Joe Biden. Biden has the experience in foreign policy, which Obama has been criticised for lacking. So they make a really good team.
Actually, way before the whole primary season between Clinton and Obama, I was trying to make my mind between Biden and Clinton!
Ugh! The last place I expected for politics to haunt me!
The way I see it, Obama can promise whatever he wants to, but until he becomes the official president of the United States and fulfill those promises, he can shove his promises up his… mouth. I would not be voting (if I am an official American citizen) for him or any candidate for that matter until I witness substantial evidence that these candidates are real with their intentions to help people.
WBoon: That’s true for all politicians. And it’s sort of the reason so many like Hillary Clinton. They’ve seen her husband in office as such a great leader - perhaps the best they’ve seen in their lifetime - and they sort of trust that she’ll be as decent.
But that was before she was out of the race.

Right on brother! I’m not political at all, but since I am voting, I say Obama is my pick so far, I like his ideas. Like you said though, we won’t know until he’s in office. He just seems like a good guy that really helped the people of Chicago when he was there.
I really know next to nothing about Joe Biden. He’s had hardly any publicity, so I can see how Sarah Palin has really helped in putting McCain ahead of the race. Still, despite that, I’d go for Obama. He seems level-headed and like a generally nice guy.
A guy who’s from the UK takes interest on the US presidential race. Reason why because when American sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold and I’m also fascinated by the US lifestyle. At first I was a Hillary supporter, but now I’m backing Obama. Seriously America needs change. Okay he may be inexprienced and always uses the word “Hope”, but Americans should give him a chance. I was watching the Democrats convention live around 3:00am(London time) 4 days in a row and there was this one guy who showed the difference between Senator McCain and Candidate McCain and I just started laughing when he highlighted the differences between the same person. Also Obama’s policies are needed, going green is essential for American, the US and us Brits need to lose the dependence for fuel and start creating our own energy. His policies on a world education and moving and getting some of the troops home and to afghan is also needed. McCain wants to keep your troops for another 100 years in Iraq, imagine the amount of money that would be wasted on the troops and no progess is being done. Whilst all your trying to do is restart Iraq’s economy and goverment and steal the oil afterwards. Also Mccain’s running mate was obviously going to be a women, a wise political move for someone who’s trying to collect the Hillary supporters. Sarah Plain troubles me. Look at Mccain’s age, his 72 and at any moment he would be dead if someone sneezes at him and Sarah Plain; a person the rest of America and world don’t know, might be running as president.
PEOPLE VOTE FOR OBAMA FOR BETTER WORLD AND BETTER AMERICA!!!
