Hi, I’m new here!~
and since I’m not to familiar to what goes around here…
Sorry if this Topic is in the wrong place
Anyways, I just ordered Cars on Blu-ray…
and I think the sound and picture on everything is just amazing!
You feel like you’re right there in the movie!~
I mean, when Lightning Mcqueen starts his engine or any other car zooms past you,
you get chills. Haha. So I was just wondering, does anybody here have Blu-ray with the movie Cars, because I would love to start a discussion about the movie along with how great the sound and picture is.
I have it but it’s in the US (and I’m not ). I don’t know when I will be getting it but it has no rush cause I don’t have a Blu-Ray player yet and it will probably take a while before I can afford one. But did you know that inside the Blu-Ray dvds there’s a code you can redeem on the Disney Movie Rewards website and get a special limited edition Blu-Ray McQueen diecast car? Just an FYI for those interested .
LightningandSally: The Walt Disney Company may look like a cute, fun-loving company, but it’s just the opposite. They are pure evil. They were great, until Walt Disney passed away. Now they are losing money, so they have to cheat people into giving theirs to them. One way for them to do that is to make the DVD as cheap as possible, and put all the bonus features we want on the very expensive Disney Blu-ray Discs, so they get more money, and we spend much more than we need to.
All evil empires will someday be brought down, and Disney is no exception.
In the meantime, I’ll have to settle for the Cars DVD, which is just fine with me.
Sigh. I would love the Blu-Ray but like the majority of people I dont have money for a player (or a PS3 which can play Blu-Rays I guess) . And it does make me mad that I am forced to get a cheap DVD. Actually, I get mad everytime I see a Cars Blu-Ray commercial because it’s just reminding me of something I really want but cant have.
Have you looked at any of the character bios on the disc? What does it say about Boost and Wingo? I already know about DJ and Snot Rod from the WalMart disc.
I want Blu-ray … just because that commercial Disney made makes it seem so darn cool … but I really despise how they’re trying to upgrade and market off of it. I would’ve been completely fine with just DVDs. I find myself watching them and thinking 'How the heck can they get anymore high quality??" and really, they can’t.
But they do have the bonus features on DVD, and I’m planning on getting it as soon as my friend gets a shipment in, 'cause then I’ll get it for ten bucks. If not, there’s bound to be one in the next ten years or so with some mysterious lost footage or stuff like that … at least that’s what happens with lots of movies. I dunno about Cars, but hey, you never know.
