in my opinion the only way she could be in the short(s) is if at least one of them takes place between toy story 2 & 3. i think to bring back a core character, in a non-feature film at that, would look cheap.
Bo Peep was meant for very young children. Molly outgrew her a long time ago, I don’t see why Molly would still have her. Molly wasn’t like Andy. Andy played with Mrs. Potatohead even though she is Molly’s toy. he kept Mrs. Potatohead,
That doesn’t really explain why he would’ve gotten rid of Bo Peep. That’s just one more reason he would’ve kept her. I guess space would be an issue.
I guess things were different after Jessie arrived, I guess Andy might use Jeesie more than Bo Peep,
It would be difficult to have Bo Peep [spoil]going into the dumpster and the garbage truck[/spoil] She would have gotten broken. Not to mention [spoil]the converter belt and incinerator scene [/spoil]She would have be broken when coming down from magnetic thing

Even though they were both female dolls,Andy played with Jessie differently then he did with Bo peep,Bo peep was Andy’s damsel in distress,Jessie was like the Batgirl to Woody’s Batman.

- the dumpster scene could have been so easy.like when the LGM got his foot stuck in the dumpster,Woody went over to help him out…but in the process he was caught by Lotso.by the time lotso had grabbed Woody the garbage truck was on the way already,now during that scene everyone jumped for the dumpster to save Woody.Barbie was going to jump but Ken stopped her.Bo peep could have grabbed for the dumpster too,caught on…without breaking.
here’s the part where people assumed she would break.when everyone fell into the dumpster they were unharmed,being a long fall i could see where people couldn’t see Peep making it,but lets say she landed on a trash bag or in a pile of Banana peels,ya know something soft.because all garbage isn’t hard…so there you go.
She would have fallen in with the rest of the gang and Woody would have been like" wait,where’s Bo?"
the she would have answered “right here”,then he would have been like “are you ok?” she would have been like "luckily this pile of trash bags cushioned my fall,lol then the sheep are all like “Baaabaaaa”.
So if Bo would have landed on something soft then she would have survived.
and with the magnetic scene ,Bo uses her crook to hook on to something metal,then when it was time for them to let go and drop she would be like “i am porcelain I’m too fragile for this”,then Buzz would be like “trust me just let go I’ll catch you”.and the sheep could have hung on to her dress or her crook with there mouths.
so just to sum it up if she would have taken a long fall in the dump she would have had the trash to break her landing.
during the magnet thing Buzz or Woody could have caught her and the sheep.
maybe she could have lost her crook along with Mrs.P eye,so when they got home she retrieved it.and ihate how people say even if she made the movie Andy wouldn’t have nothing special to say about her at the end=(…that’s so not the case.

Don’t forget in TS2 Andy’s mum hold a yard sale while he’s at camp. She probably did that a lot to avoid him protesting to giving his stuff away.
And lostmysheep500 I know you don’t like your (presumably from your name) favourite character gone but all your changes to the plot would’ve been pointless and make the whole thing less plausible. And that’s talking about a movie with talking toys. 
Toy Story 3 is about letting go and moving on. I suggest we do the same.
Well hey i loved TS3,and i’m not trying to vent out at anyone.i’m just saying people were saying there was noway Bo could have been in the scene’s without breaking…and i gave plausible scenarios where she wouldn’t even get chipped.
Bo is one of my fave TS characters,she was the original female lead.and when i watched the first TS i identified with her character right away because she was the only female character who had a significant role,and i thought she was a pretty “Barbie”(i didn’t know she was porcelain back then).
I guess me being a girl and seeing each of the movies in order,i’ll always have a soft spot for Bo in my heart…lol 
I completely agree with you. However despite what you say, there would be no plausible way of getting her through TS3 without her being practically a background character. The fact that she is gone really highlights Woody’s need to be with Andy.
